Remember “Prison Break” and that hottie Wentworth Miller? Wentworth came out of the closet yesterday in a big way. He fired off a letter to the director of the St. Petersburg International Film Festival saying he would not be attending their event because of he’s “deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government.” Wentworth added, “If circumstances improve, I’ll be free to make a different choice.”
So yesterday I told you that One Direction’s Zayn Malik is engaged to Perrie Edwards from Little Mix. And now we’re hearing rumors that Niall Horan is dating Ellie Goulding, who’s been serving as 1D’s opening act during their current tour. Niall and Ellie were spotted together at a Kings of Leon concert this past Sunday and, according to a source, while they blocked by bodyguards, they sneaked in a little kissy face. Interesting since Ellie is supposed to be dating this British actor named Jeremy Irvine. Hmmmm……….
Kelly Clarkson was so over planning her wedding to Brandon Blackstock that she canceled the whole thing. The couple was supposed to get married at the end of October, but Kelly told “People” that she and Brandon just got so overwhelmed by all the decisions they had to make and they were frustrated that details about the big day were leaking, so they decided to just elope. We don’t know where, but Kelly says the only people who will be there will be her, Brandon, his two kids and the preacher man. The would’ve-been wedding guests will now get to celebrate at a huge reception afterward.
Brandy is super popular in South America, so the promotor of the Mandela Sports and Culture Day hired her for a surprise performance at the end of the day’s festivities. The only problem was, the promoter forgot to tell the crowd to stick around for a surprise concert and everybody spilled out of the stadium before Brandy could take the stage. By the time she made her big entrance, Brandy found herself performing for 40 people in a 90K seat arena!!! Brandy made it through two songs before she sulked off stage.
Why is Lance Bass dashing all our hopes and dreams??? He says the rumors about ‘N Sync reuniting at the VMAs Sunday night are just that — rumors. But it makes perfect sense for the guys to reunite when Justin Timberlake receives the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, doesn’t it?? So maybe Lance is just trying to throw us off with his semi-denial. One thing for sure — we’ll know the truth by the time the credits roll Sunday night.
