The American Idol reboot on ABC isn’t bringing in the ratings network executives hoped and paid for. This past Sunday’s episode brought in the lowest ratings for the show EVER. And that includes every episode from the past 15 seasons. In its defense, Idol was up against the ACM Awards on CBS.
Usher’s home in LA was robbed of over $800K in jewelry and cash. He wasn’t home at the time and the robbery wasn’t discovered until a housekeeper showed up and found an open window, a handprint on a pillow and a footprint on the floor. But when she went to go check the home’s security tape, she found out that the robbers took that, too! Usher’s house is up for sale and the housekeeper — who’s apparently watched a lot of crime shows because she’s got this all figured out — told police she believes whoever did this was at a recent open house and unlocked window so they could come back and rob the place later. She personally reached out to the realtor to get a list of everyone who’d been through the home, and told police she would turn it over to them once she had it.
Maybe the reason Mariah Carey decided to share her bipolar diagnosis with People magazine is because her former manager was about to use that information against her. According to The Blast, Stella Bulochnikov has filed paperwork stating her intention to sue Mariah for termination without cause. She claims that Mariah is a “train wreck” who’s addicted to alcohol and prescription pills, and was threatening to expose some of Mariah’s manic episodes. Perhaps she leaked one of those incidents because The Blast is reporting an incident that allegedly happened two years ago. They say Nick Cannon called Stella — who was still working for Mariah at that time — in a panic after Mariah’s nanny called him saying she’d found Mariah wearing a ball gown, a tiara and a Ring-Pop other hand, which she claims the royal family had given her. Mariah allegedly asked the nanny to get her children ready for dinner because Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Prince were coming over. She freaked out and called Nick, who wasn’t nearby, so he called Stella who went to Mariah’s place with a psychiatrist and that’s when they decided that she needed to be hospitalized immediately. But rather than go to a hospital where this story could be leaked, they took her to the Beverly Hills Hotel and a team of doctors treated her there for several weeks. And that’s just ONE of the stories that could come up in a lawsuit if Mariah doesn’t pay to make this all go away.
Us Weekly reported that The Weeknd and Bella Hadid were all over each other backstage at Coachella. Bella is having none of that. She tweeted, “It wasn’t me.” And it really wasn’t! The Weeknd was hanging all over one of Justin Bieber’s exes, DJ Chantel Jeffries.
Khloe announced her baby girl’s name on Instagram yesterday — “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!” So it looks like she’s keeping up appearances. It turns out True is a family name, passed down from Kris Jenner’s grandfather and father. TMZ is reporting that Khloe isn’t speaking to Tristan and that their relationship is hanging by a thread. After a weekend at Coachella, Khloe’s sisters Kim, Kourtney and Kendall took a private jet to Cleveland to be with her and the new baby. It will be interesting to see if Khloe and True are on that jet back to LA…
