The day before The Judds were to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, sisters Wynonna and Ashley made a very sad announcement: “Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.” Naomi was 76. According to Wikipedia, The Judds had 20 Top 10 hits, including 15 number ones. Together, they won five Grammys, but Naomi won a Grammy all her own for writing Country Song of the Year, “Love Can Build a Bridge.” In 1991, at the height of their career, Naomi was diagnosed with hepatitis C. The Judds then went on a farewell tour, and their farewell concert, by the way, was the most successful music event in pay-per-view history. But after that tour, Naomi developed severe depression, which led to panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. Naomi actually wrote a book about depression and hope called River of Time, which is available for pre-order. The Judds were set to kick off a reunion tour on Sept. 30 and looking at the schedule, they have sold out shows in Durant, OK, Ft. Worth and Nashville.

In Netflix news, they’re losing subscribers. Why? Unclear. But they’re planning to lose 2M subscribers this quarter and it sent their stock prices plummeting. They’re having to make some budget cuts, and one of the casualties is Meghan Markle. Netflix has scratched her upcoming animated series “Pearl,” which would follow the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration from influential women throughout history. Other cancellations include Steve Carell’s “Space Force” and “Raising Dion,” which starred our very own Kidd’s Kid, Sammi Haney. In more positive Netflix news, all of the original cast of “That ‘70s Show” — minus Danny Masterson — are returning for the upcoming Netflix spinoff series, “That ‘90s Show.” The spinoff is set in 1995, and will revolve around Eric and Donna’s daughter, Leia, who is visiting her grandparents, Kitty and Red, for the summer. And according to Deadline, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama are all set to come back for guest appearances. And as Deadline says, “Sex, drugs and rock ‘roll never dies, it just changes clothes.”

Andy Cohen has welcomed another baby into the world! On Friday, Andy posted a picture holding his daughter, captioning it, “HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy.” And yes, big brother Benjamin – who is now 3 – has met his baby sister. You can see all the cuteness on Andy’s Instagram.

It looking more and more like Adele will finally launch her Vegas residency, possibly as early as late summer. She was supposed to kick off “Weekends With Adele” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace back in January, but pulled the plug at the last minute because the show didn’t meet her standards. Sources say the new show will most likely be moved to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. Both venues are part of the Caesars Entertainment Group, but Zappos has 7000 seats compared to The Colosseum’s 4100.

In what I consider very disappointing news, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson didn’t save their official red carpet debut for the Met Gala tonight. They blew it on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night. Kim wore a custom rhinestone-covered silver Balenciaga gown cinched so tight in her waist that I couldn’t breath. Pete wore a classic black Prada suit with a white dress shirt, skinny black tie and black sneakers. They’ll probably turn it up a notch for the red carpet tonight. But what really has people talking is Pete’s new neck tattoo — the letters “KNSCP.” The obvious conclusion is that these are the initials of Kim and her four children with Kanye, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
