Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a baby boy

Box office weekend news… More leaked emails from the Sony Pictures… the Most Fascinating People of 2014… Bill Cosby finally speaks out… and Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a baby boy

After three weeks at number one, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” got bumped to second. The new “Exodus: Gods and Kings” came in first with $24.5 million. But they still have quite a way to go to break even! The Moses movie starring Christian Bale cost $140 million to make. “Mockingjay” was second with $13.2 million. “Penguins of Madagascar” was third with $7.3 million and Chris Rock’s “Top Five” debuted in fourth with $7.2 million. But next weekend is going to be crazy nuts when you have the final “Hobbit” movie, the “Annie” remake and “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” all opening.

More leaked emails from the Sony Pictures hack. This time, Leonardo DiCaprio is called “despicable” by Sony co-chair Amy Pascal when Leo changed his mind about doing the Steve Jobs movie. But Amy’s a big old softie when it comes to George Clooney. After getting bad reviews for his pet project, “The Monuments Men,” George emailed Amy, “I need some protection from all the reviews” and “it’s getting worse.” She answered, “We will protect you by making money…that’s the best revenge.” He wrote her back, “I adore you Amy. You are literally the only person running a studio that loves film. I fear I’ve let you all down. Not my intention. I apologize. I’ve just lost touch… Who knew? Sorry. I won’t do it again.”

She began the year as Amal Alamuddin, but she ends it as Amal Clooney, the Most Fascinating Person of 2014! At least that’s what Barbara Walters thinks. Barbara deemed her the most fascinating because we know so little about her, other than the fact that she was chosen by George Clooney and that getting him to marry her was “one of the greatest achievements in history.” Also fascinating Barbara enough to make up the rest of her top ten list this year were Scarlett Johansson, Taylor Swift, Neil Patrick Harris, “Game Of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin, Chelsea Handler, businessman and philanthropist David Koch, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Strahan, and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk.

Bill Cosby has kept his mouth shut when asked about the drugging and sexual assault accusations being thrown at him. But when “Page Six” got Bill on the phone and asked him about it, Bill finally had something to say! “Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind.” The reporter said Bill sounded really upbeat when he was asked about how is wife, Camille, is holding up. He said, “Love and the strength of womanhood. Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood.  And, you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love.” I don’t know what he was getting at exactly and Page Six didn’t get to dig deeper because that’s when Bill cut off the conversation, saying, “They don’t want me talking to the media.” And by “they,” we assume he meant his lawyers.

I keep checking E! to see if they’ve revealed the baby name yet, but for whatever reason, the Kardashians are sitting on that for a while longer. Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a baby boy yesterday, on the same day her son Mason turned 5! While mommy was in labor, Auntie Kim took Mason, his little sister Penelope and their favorite cousin North to see Disney on Ice. We also found out over the weekend that Hayden Panettiere and her fiancé Wladimir Klitschko welcomed their baby girl into the world this past Tuesday. Little Kaya Evdokia Klitschko was born weighing in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and measuring 20 inches — a lot of baby for 5’0 Hayden!!!
