For the third week, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” was number one, adding another $31.6M to its coffers. But that’s it! “Top Gun: Maverick” debuts this week and why even bother having another movie in theaters… “Downton Abbey: A New Era” opened in second with $16M, followed by “The Bad Guys” with $6.1M, “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” with $3.9M and “Men” with $3.3M. If you’re like me, you asked, “What is ‘Men’??” IMDB says it’s a horror movie about a young woman who goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside following the death of her ex-husband.

SPOILER ALERT! Season 20 of “American Idol” has come and gone and after 16M votes were counted, underdog Noah Thompson was showered with confetti. Everybody thought the winner would be Huntergirl, who received the show’s first-ever Platinum Ticket from Luke Bryan way back in the first audition rounds. She settled for second place. Leah Marlene was third.

Heading into the Season 47 finale, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney let it be known that this would be their last appearance as a “Saturday Night Live” regular. Kate and Aidy both joined in 2012, followed by Kylie in 2013 and Pete in 2014. Pete had to miss Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding in Italy, which actually surprised me. He even joked that he’s hardly ever on the show, but I guess he figured he owed Lorne Michaels a proper goodbye.

In what some legal experts are calling a risky move, Amber Heard’s legal team will call Johnny Depp to the stand today to face many of the accusations Amber and her other witnesses have made against him. Then Johnny’s team will have their chance to question him, probably Wednesday or Thursday. Closing arguments are scheduled for Friday. Johnny is suing Amber for $50M over an op-ed piece she and the ACLU wrote back in 2018. Amber turned around and countersued for $100M.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were married in what appears to be a wedding sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana. The entire family was decked out in D&G for the pre-wedding, wedding and post-wedding festivities. Kourtney and Travis stayed on a super yacht owned by Stefano Gabbana while D&G paid for four classic wooden speed boats decked out in D&G accessories to ferry wedding guests from their hotels to Portofino harbor. Kourtney rocked a white mini for her wedding dress, paired with a cathedral-length veil that had the Virgin Mary embroidered onto it, matching the tattoo on Travis’ head. She switched into a black minidress for the reception, where Andrea Bocelli performed for the newlyweds. Kourtney posted tons of photos on her Instagram if you want to check them out.
