Weekend box office news… Tekashi 6ix9ine update… Hanson brother Zac injured… Blake Lively gives birth… and Kylie Jenner faced some backlash for her $3 Million Bugatti

“Venom” only held the record for a year because “Joker” has now set the new record for the biggest October opening ever. “Joker” opened with $93.5M, crushing the $80.3M earned by “Venom” last year. Overseas, “Joker” earned another $140.5M so that’s a $235M haul! Reviews for “Joker” have been mixed. Just over 400 critics on Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 70% fresh rating while almost 20K verified audience members gave it a score of 90%. Rounding out the rest of the top five were “Abominable” with $12.9M; “Downton Abbey” with $8M; “Hustlers” with $6.3M; and, “It: Chapter Two with $5.4M.

Tekashi 6ix9ine would like the judge to hurry up and grant his shorter sentence, please. Tekashi pointed his finger at every-dang-body to get his 47-year sentence reduced. His lawyer has now asked the judge — “respectfully” — to expedite the sentencing so he can get started knocking off that time. Sources say Tekashi spilled his guts SO much that he fully expects to be out by January.

If Zac was your favorite Hanson, this is going to hurt you heart. Zac was in a really bad motorcycle crash in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last week. Zac posted on the band’s website that he was preparing for a cross-country ride when the accident happened, but he didn’t explain what went wrong. He did say that he was able to walk away from the crash thanks to his protective gear, but he was still hurt pretty badly. Zac is now recovering from a broken collarbone, three broken ribs and a cracked shoulder blade. Zac said he’s still planning to hit the road with his brothers for an upcoming tour, but he won’t be behind the drums. Somebody else will fill in for him while he sings.

Kylie Jenner bought herself a $3M snow-white Bugatti Chiron with a rich, orange interior, and couldn’t resist posting it on her Instagram. She was slammed for buying yet another ridiculously expensive car when there are starving people in the world. As one person wrote, “Oh yay! Another new car! Meanwhile there’s ppl struggling to make ends meet and feed themselves. I’m happy for her but damn when is enough enough?” Kylie decided it wasn’t worth the grief and deleted the post. And Chrissy Teigen is also taking heat for her new forearm tattoo. Chrissy was trying to be a cool mom, so she got the birthdays of her husband John Legend and their two kids tattooed on her forearm. Now she’s getting slammed for its similarity to the tattoos forced upon Jewish prisoners who were held in concentration camps during the Holocaust. But unlike Kylie, Chrissy hasn’t deleted anything.
