Cryptic clues from Dua Lipa… Bethenny Frankel’s calls for a union… Friends cast release joint statement… Milo Ventimiglia is officially off the market… and Kylie & Kendall Jenner dress up
Listen to “Showbiz – Oct 31, 2023” on Spreaker.
Just like Shawn Mendes, it’s been 3 years since Dua Lipa released her last album, called “Future Nostalgia.” Over the summer, Dua told “New York Times Magazine” that a new album would be arriving next year, but maybe she’s bumped that timeline up a little. Something is obviously up because Dua wiped her Instagram clean and then posted a closeup photo of herself clenching a key between her teeth. She captioned it, “Catch me or I go…” Then she posted a video of her holding a key in her mouth with the caption, “I’m not here for long.” Lyrics to a new song, maybe? We don’t know yet. But her Instagram is wiped clean again and now we wait.

Bethenny Frenkel has been going after reality TV producers — mainly Bravo — for how they mistreat and underpay their reality stars . She’s created what she hopes will be a movement called “the reality reckoning” and hopes to see her fellow reality stars form their own union. After all the fuss Bethenny raised, “Vanity Fair” decided to do their own investigative reporting and dropped what was expected to be a bombshell story about it yesterday. Basically, it was stuff we already knew. There are a lot of examples of Real Housewives being over served. In fact, during her first season on “Real Housewives of New York,” Leah McSweeney relapsed after 9 years of sobriety. But her fellow New York Housewife Ramona Singer comes out looking the worst in this article. Again, we already knew that Ramona is racist. In fact, Page Six previously reported that she was investigated after being accused of using the N-word while talking to a production staffer. The investigation was inconclusive. But that led to Bravo putting the ladies through a racial sensitivity training session. The instructor told the women it’s best to avoid using racist tropes, such as saying Black fathers aren’t present for their children. Ramona reportedly asked, “What if they don’t have a father? Why can’t I say that? Most of them don’t.” So far, no comment from Ramona or from Bravo.
Amid disturbing allegations, Bethenny Frankel’s calls for a union, and a whole lot of drinking, reality TV’s most popular stars are facing their demons.

Matthew Perry’s co-stars on “Friends” released a joint statement to “People” magazine yesterday, saying, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.” It was signed by Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer. Matthew’s assistant found him underwater in his jacuzzi Saturday afternoon. The autopsy has already been done and while the cause of death is presumed to be drowning, the coroner won’t list an official cause of death until the results of the toxicology report come back, and that could take weeks. TMZ said no illegal drugs were found in Matthew’s house, but there were several prescription medications, including anti-depressants, anti-anxiety drugs and a drug for COPD.

Surprise! Milo Ventimiglia is married! He and Jarah Mariano were married earlier this year during a private ceremony that included their families and closest friends. “Us Weekly” has the exclusive photos. Forty-six-year-old Milo and 38-year-old Jarah were first linked last year, but never confirmed their relationship …. until now! And what a coincidence that Milo’s bride shares the same last name as his “Gilmore Girls” character, Jess Mariano! And here’s another surprise….Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz are engaged! We think. They haven’t confirmed or denied anything but she showed up for Kendall Jenner’s annual Halloween party wearing a huge cushion cut diamond set in a rose gold band on THAT finger. And speaking of Kendall’s Halloween party…….

Kendall Jenner gave her best Marilyn Monroe as she hosted her annual Halloween party at the Chateau Marmont on Saturday. Presumably engaged couple Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz came as Rosemary and her baby from the 1968 horror classic “Rosemary’s Baby.” Also at the part were Mariah Carey as Jessica Rabbit, Billie Eilish as either Jessie from “Toy Story” or a red-headed cowgirl, and Justin and Hailey Bieber went as Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm. In a photo shoot, Kendall and Kylie Jenner dressed up as Sugar and Spice from 1995’s “Batman Forever.” Kim Kardashian and her 10-year-old daughter North dressed as Cher and Dione from “Clueless,” which was also released in 1995. On Friday, the very pregnant Kourtney Kardashian borrowed Kim’s Givenchy dress from the 2013 Met Gala, which she wore when she was heavily pregnant with North. But then she and Travis Barker dressed as Beetlejuice and Lydia from the 1988 movie “Beetlejuice.” Kourtney wore a red wedding dress like the one Winona Ryder, as Lydia, wore in the movie.
