Actor, producer, director, writer, and Emmy winner Garry Marshall has passed away at the age of 81. Going WAY back, he was a writer for TV shows like “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “The Lucy Show”…He created TV shows like “Mork & Mindy,” “Happy Days” and “Laverne & Shirley” which starred his sister Penny Marshall…He directed movies including “Pretty Woman,” “Beaches” and “The Princess Diaries”…Garry had recently suffered a stroke that had him in and out of the hospital. He reportedly died of complications from pneumonia.
Johnny Manziel got into a fight at his friend’s wedding in Hawaii, but Johnny says he didn’t start it. TMZ Sports is reporting that Johnny was at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island Friday night when he and another wedding guest got into an argument. Things continued to get worse until it all blew up at the rehearsal dinner. Johnny got in a couple of good punches but the is fight was broken up pretty quickly. No police were called. The next day, Johnny reportedly sent a bottle of champagne to the other guy’s room with a note that said, “Truly apologize. Should have never done that. Know this won’t make it better, but hope it starts the day off alright.”
After his concert at Madison Square Garden, Justin Bieber rented out an entire theater at the AMC in Times Square. Justin, his ex-girlfriend Chantel Jeffries and a handful of friends got their own private screening of “The Secret Life of Pets.”
Selena Gomez has the honor of having the most-like Instagram post in its short-lived history. Selena is drinking from a bottle of Coke with her song lyric on it. She may or may not have been paid for that post, but how much would she be paid if she was? According to data company D’Marie Analytics, based on Selena’s following, she could command up to $550K for a single post that appears across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. According to AdWeek, that would be $300K more than she could earn at the beginning of this year!
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have called off their engagement, but hopefully it’s not completely over just yet. Gaga posted a sweet photo of the couple on IG and captioned it, “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
