Nominees for the “Billboard Music Awards” were announced yesterday. The Weeknd leads with 16, followed by DaBaby with 11, and the late Pop Smoke with 10. While country star Morgan Wallen earned six nominations, Billboard released a statement saying his “conduct does not align with our core values, we will not be including him on the show in any capacity (performing, presenting, accepting.)” It continued, “It is heartening and encouraging to hear that he is taking steps in his anti-racist journey and starting to do some meaningful work. We plan to evaluate his progress and will consider his participation in future shows.” So why is he even nominated? Because Billboard nominations are based strictly on sales and chart performance, not on votes from fellow artists. In case you missed it, earlier this year, Morgan was caught on camera using the n-word a few times while he was drunk with his friends in front of his house. His music was yanked from radio stations, but his album still spent 10 weeks at No. 1.

Are Zoe Kravitz and Jonah Hill dating? Back in January, Zoe filed for divorce from her husband of 18 months. A couple months before that, Jonah ended his engagement. Just a few days ago, Zoe posted pictures of her and Jonah with their arms around each other. Jonah left a fire emoji in the comments and Zoe’s dad Lenny Kravitz commented, “Folks don’t know!” But Zoe also tagged Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s fashion label “The Row” in the picture so it looks like they were simply doing a photoshoot for the brand. But who knows? Relationships have started over less.

Justin Bieber has pushed back his summer tour to 2022. In the meantime, he wants to keep his new album on the charts. To do that, sources say Justin is working on a new song with BTS that will be part of a deluxe release of his album “Justice.” The collaboration comes just weeks after Justin and BTS’ music labels merged. BTS’ label HYBE bought Scooter Braun’s companies for a reported $1B.

T-Pain’s thumbs are going to get sore after he responds to all of the DMs he just found! He posted a video saying he’s accidentally ignored hundreds of celebrities for years because he didn’t know there was another message inbox called “requests” in his IG DMs. Messages he missed were from people like Fergie, Tyler Cameron, Viola Davis, Diplo, ESPN, and HUNDREDS more.

Back on February 24, Lady Gaga’s dog walker was shot four times and left for dead as a couple of men raced off with two of Gaga’s 3 French bulldogs. Ryan Fischer cradled the one dog got away until help could arrive and, thank God, he survived. Lady Gaga offered a $500K reward for the return of her two dogs, no questions asked. And wouldn’t you know it, a couple days later a woman found the dogs and took them straight to the police. Unlike Lady Gaga, the police had some questions. And after a thorough investigation, five people have now been arrested on dognapping and attempted murder charges, including the Good Samaritan who returned the dogs. They are Eighteen-year-old James Jackson — the one accused of shooting Mark in the chest — 19-year-old Jaylin White, and 27-year-old Lafayette Whaley are all facing attempted murder and robbery charges. Jaylin’s dad, Harold White and his girlfriend Jennifer McBride are charged as accessories. Police say the four men are “all documented gang members.” And at first, police thought this was some sort of gang prank or initiation type of thing, but it turns out these men just knew French bulldogs are worth a lot of money so they decided to steal them. Ryan was shot as he fought to protect Gaga’s dogs. All of them pleaded not guilty in LA Superior Court yesterday. The men are still behind bars, but Jennifer was released on bail because she has diabetes. She’s wearing an ankle monitor.
