YouTube makeup star James Charles seems to always be involved in some sort of controversy. The latest involves an accusation from a 16-year-old boy who claims in a since-deleted video that 21-year-old James had been grooming him for a relationship over Snapchat. In a statement James denies the accusation, saying, “I asked how old he was right away and he told me he was 18 so I started flirting back…It’s clear…he was taking photos of me with another device, & had an ulterior motive from the beginning…when I asked him to confirm his age, he admitted he was 16.” James said that’s when he blocked the teenager, adding, “I would never knowingly engage with anyone underage and put my life on the line for a few snapchats. Because of situations like this, instead of taking someone’s word for it, I now will ask to see the ID or passport of every guy I have a conversation with.”

The timing may finally be right for a Black Superman. Michael B. Jordan tried to develop a Black Superman project back in 2019, but it never got off the ground. So maybe he’ll be considered for this project! Warner Bros. has confirmed that J.J. Abrams will produce the movie, which is being written by African American author and journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates, who worked on “Captain America” and “Black Panther.”
According to sources, the project is being set up as a Black Superman story, something Michael B. Jordan tried to do with the studio back in 2019https://t.co/LMiD82NWJ2— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) February 26, 2021

Bruno Mars was laying low even before the pandemic. But last week, he announced his first new album since 2016 will be out this Friday! It’s with a new band he formed with Anderson Paak called Silk Sonic. Also on Friday, Bruno’s first clothing line drops! It’s a collaboration with Lacoste called “Ricky Regal.” Bruno said, “When I’m on stage, my name is Bruno Mars. When I’m making lavish luxurious garments, I go by Ricky Regal.” The whole Ricky Regal vibe is a throwback to the 70s. Bruno — or Ricky Regal — is modeling some of the pieces on the Lacoste website. He’s rocking a soft, curly afro, a thin ‘stache, and oversized, tinted aviators. Bruno said, “I wanted collars down to my elbows. There’s something magnificent and powerful about a collar being big. It gives confidence to whomever’s wearing it; it feels like a cape.” If you want to dress all Ricky Regal, pieces range from about $100-300.

Jonah Hill is like a lot of us. His weight goes up and down all the time, only we don’t have the tabloids documenting it. Last week the Daily Mail posted photos of Jonah surfing in a wet suit and then some shirtless shots of him changing. Jonah saw this as a powerful teaching moment and decided to repost those photos, captioning it, “I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends. Probably would have happened sooner if my childhood insecurities weren’t exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers. So the idea that the media tries to play me by stalking me while surfing and printing photos like this and it can’t phase me anymore is dope. I’m 37 and finally love and accept myself. This isn’t a ‘good for me’ post . And it’s definitely not a ‘feel bad for me post’. It’s for the kids who don’t take their shirt off at the pool. Have fun. You’re wonderful and awesome and perfect. All my love. Oh and Daily Mail, not even you can take that smile from my face ;)”

While walking Lady Gaga’s 3 French bulldogs late last Wednesday night in Hollywood, Ryan Fischer was attacked by two men who wanted those dogs. Ryan fought back, but ended up being shot several times and left for dead. The gunmen were able to grab two of the dogs, but one ran off and was later recovered. Lady Gaga was devastated, offering a $500K reward for the safe return of her babies. On Friday night, the two stolen dogs were found unharmed, tied to a pole in an alley miles away from where they were dognapped. The woman who discovered them said she recognized the dogs immediately from news reports, and now she’s about to be $500K richer. The two suspects remain on the loose. Gaga is currently in Rome working on a movie, but she posted on Instagram, “I continue to love you Ryan . . . you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
