Rosie O’Donnell on “Empire”… Halle Berry sued by airport employee… Adele returns… Blake Shelton sues for defamation… and Lamar Odom transferred to hospital in L.A.

Can you believe this one? Rosie O’Donnell was doing standup the other night and told the audience she’s going to be on “Empire” playing a character, not herself. And apparently she’s going to have scenes with Cookie!

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are being sued by an airport employee for $5 million. Back in January, Halle and Olivier were trying to get through LAX with their kids when they were swarmed by paparazzi. This employee Ronaldo Owens says he was rightfully standing there when Olivier — at the encouragement of his wife — shoved him with a child safety seat. We should note that other photographers caught Ronaldo trying to take a picture of the couple with his cell phone. But Ronaldo is suing for assault, battery, negligence and emotional distress. Ronaldo says he was humiliated by the press coverage that followed. He did file a police report at the time, but the LA city attorney declined to prosecute.

After teasing us with 30 seconds of her new music on Sunday and with rumors that she’ll drop her first album in four years on November 20, “Page Six” is reporting that Adele is booked for upcoming appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and “Today.” And while many are expecting a massive tour to support her album, a source told “Page Six” that Adele is so afraid of flying that it will probably keep her from visiting a lot of international cities.

Blake Shelton has sued “In Touch Weekly” for claiming his heavy drinking led to his divorce from Miranda Lambert and that he was headed to rehab. He says that is defamation of his character and he’s seeking more than a million dollars in damages. The lawsuit filed says in part, “Blake Shelton has had enough…Mr. Shelton is not in rehab and has no plans to go to rehab…To be clear: Mr. Shelton has not hit rock bottom.” The lawsuit also asks for the stories about him to be retracted and they want to stop the magazine from repeating these claims in future issues.

With Khloe Kardashian by his side, Lamar Odom has been transferred by medical helicopter from a hospital in Vegas to Cedars-Sinai in LA. Lamar’s condition has improved a great deal, but he still has a long way to go. After waking up from a four-day coma, Lamar is now breathing on his own but he still can’t walk and he’s also on dialysis because his kidneys aren’t functioning on their own. And Khloe plans to be there every step of the way. In fact, she’s reportedly told James Harden that their relationship needs to be put on hold while she’s with Lamar.
