We know that David Letterman finishes his 21-year run of Late Show on May 20. Not only do they have to build a new set, but CBS is also going to have to hire writers and a new production team for the Stephen Colbert version of the show. The network announced yesterday that Stephen’s first night in the chair will happen on Tuesday, September 8.

CBS has given early renewals to three of its freshman drama series. NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion, and Madam Secretary have all been renewed for a second season. Among total viewers, NCIS: New Orleans is the season’s most-watched new drama. Madam Secretary is the second, and Scorpion is the third. The fate of another freshman drama, Stalker, is still up in the air. Over at the CW, they’re so happy with the way things are going that they’ve renewed every single one of their fall shows, including Supernatural, which is coming back for its 11th season, and The Vampire Diaries, which will enjoy a 7th season on the air. The CW also picked up Arrow for season 4 , Reign and The 100 are coming back for round 3. And freshmen shows Jane the Virgin and The Flash are coming back for a second season.

It’s not too terribly surprising to hear that some people were offended by Margaret Cho at the Golden Globes Sunday night, calling her impression of a North Korean “racist.” She fired back on Twitter, saying, “I’m of mixed North/South Korean descent – you imprison, starve and brainwash my people you get made fun of by me #hatersgonhate #FreeSpeech.”

Selena Gomez was hitting up the Golden Globes after parties with her rumored new boyfriend, DJ Zedd. They’ve been in the studio together working on some new music, and it looks like their working relationship blossomed into something more!

Leonardo DiCaprio was ’at the Playboy Mansion this weekend where his designer friend Nikki Erwin was celebrating her 30th birthday. Also at the party was Rihanna, and sources told TMZ that things between the two of them got very steamy. In fact, two people at the party swear they saw Leo and Rihanna kissing, but one of Leo’s friends told TMZ that wasn’t true. Maybe the friend just wasn’t looking at the right time! Sources say it’s not clear if Leo and Rihanna left together, but they did end up at the same after-party.
