Eva Longoria’s Flaming Hot Cheetos biopic… Mama June is hitting the road… Lori Loughlin update… Missy Elliott brings out grown-up Alyson Stoner… and Leslie Jones leaving Saturday Night Live

J-Si has told this story several times on the radio and now Eva Longoria is directing a movie about it. Eva beat out several other directors for this gig, too! The movie is called “Flamin’ Hot,” and it’s the story about Richard Montanez, the son of a Mexican immigrant who was working as a janitor at Frito-Lay when he came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Over the past few weeks, Mama June has been selling everything inside her house in Hampton, Georgia. Neighbors have been complaining to the HOA about the dumpsters parked in her front yard, filled to the brim with junk. Well, the neighbors won’t have to put up with that nonsense much longer. Crackhead Mama June and her crackhead boyfriend Geno are selling the house, buying an RV, and plan to live on the open road — my husband Allen’s dream!! Mama June has been on a downward spiral. Her family unsuccessfully attempted an intervention, and now her three daughters have cut her off. In fact, 19-year-old Pumpkin has obtained temporary custody of 14-year-old Honey Boo Boo, who is now living with her.

Now for an update on the college admissions scandal, otherwise known as Operation Varsity Blues. Remember when Lori Laughlin and her husband Mossimo showed up for court the first time around? She jumped out of the car looking every inch a Hallmark Channel and Netflix star, happily greeting fans and posing for pictures. Not this time! Looking way less happy, Lori showed up wearing a sensible cardigan and flats, holding hands with her husband as they slipped in the courthouse through a back door. Against the judge’s advice, Lori and Mossimo waived their right to separate attorneys. If they’re going down, they’re going down together! They’re accused of paying $500K in bribes to get their two daughters into USC. If convicted on all charges, they face a maximum 20 years in prison.

Missy Elliott received the Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs Monday night and people are still talking about how great it was to see Alyson Stoner up there on stage dancing to Missy’s song, Work It. It’s been 17 years since Alyson appeared in that video, when she was only NINE!! And at 26, she’s still got it. When someone posted on Twitter, “Do we think @alysonstoner had to rehearse for the missy elliott performance? If I knew that choreography I’d probably have been doing it once a week for the last 17 years (she crushed it).” The answer to that is NOPE! Alyson responded, “Let’s talk quick facts..HiHat hit me up a day before to jump in, said ‘do your thing’ and then it was showtime. But those grooves don’t leave your system.”

Leslie Joneshas quit! After 5 seasons, she has left Saturday Night Live to spread her wings and fly…literally. Right now, she’s the voice of Zeta — the leader of Eagle Island — in Angry Birds 2. She’s also filming the sequel to “Coming to America” with Eddie Murphy and in November, she’ll be filming her Netflix stand-up special in Washington, DC. On top of THAT, Deadline has learned that Leslie will host the reboot of Supermarket Sweep! Could her life get any sweeter?? Things didn’t happen quickly for Leslie. She was originally hired as a writer on the NBC show. In 2013, SNL faced a lot of criticism for not having enough minority cast members, but Sasheer Zamata beat Leslie out for a full-time spot. Leslie did, however, make some hilarious appearances on Weekend Update and was given her full-time gig the following year.
