Lil Wayne Finally Dropped “Tha Carter V” Album

JWoww has filed for divorce… Saturday Night Live returns… Terry Crews will host “America’s Got Talent”… Gwyneth Paltrow & Brad Falchuk are getting married… and Lil Wayne finally dropped “Tha Carter V” album

JWoww has filed for divorce from her husband Roger Mathews, just shy of their 3 year anniversary. (The traditional 3rd wedding anniversary is leather, by the way.) She blames irreconcilable differences. Roger went on Instagram to say he’s not going down without a fight. He said there was no cheating or any “juicy details.” Roger said, “It’s just she grew tired of the repetitive pattern we fell into…I’m not going to get into detail but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.” But Roger made a promise! He said, “I am going to win my wife back. I’m going to win her affection back. I’m going to win her love back. I have no intentions of being a single dad. We’re in counseling so there is hope.” JWoww and Roger have two kids, 4-year-old daughter Melani and 2-year-old son Grayson.

Saturday Night Live returns this weekend with Adam Driver as the first host of the season and his musical guest is Kanye West. Yesterday, Kanye tweeted some pretty big news, “We’re releasing Yandhi Saturday night. We know it will come in number 2 to my brother Lil Wayne and that’s lovely. The universe needs Ye and Wayne music at the same time.” It was also announced that Awkafina will host next weekend’s SNL with Travis Scott as her musical guest. And the week after that, Seth Meyers hosts with Paul Simon performing. This will be Paul’s 15th appearance on SNL, as well has his 77th birthday.

Terry Crews has been named the host of the winter edition of “America’s Got Talent” that will debut in January. “AGT: The Champions” will feature fan favorites and other memorable acts from past seasons, along with popular acts from other versions of AGT from around the world. It’s not just a showcase. They will be competing for the judges, which will still be Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B, who has to squeeze in a trip to rehab between now and then.

Page Six says Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are getting married this weekend at her home in the Hamptons in front of about 50 of their closest friends and family. Back in April, Ryan Murphy threw them a huge engagement party with 400 people. It was so huge, people assumed it was actually their wedding, but the real thing is this weekend. Gwyneth and Brad met on the set of “Glee” and started dating in 2014, about the same time she and Chris Martin consciously uncoupled.

It’s been a long time coming, but Lil Wayne finally dropped “Tha Carter V” album at midnight last night. Twitter came alive with everybody trying to out-meme and out-funny each other with their comments. This album was supposed to come out in 2014, but Weezy had to deal with this ugly lawsuit with Cash Money Records, which was eventually settled for an undisclosed amount of cash money back in June. As a result of the lawsuit, Lil Wayne because the sold proprietor of Young Money Entertainment and now, we finally have the music. “Tha Carter V” features 23 tracks with appearances from several guest artists including Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, XXXTentacion….but wait a minute….Post Malone isn’t on there. TMZ reported yesterday that Weezy reached out to Post earlier this week to come in at the last minute and do a track for the album. Post reportedly finished his part Wednesday night and the track was being mixed to be included at the last minute. But then the album dropped and no Post Malone.
