Last year, Netflix bumped its prices and lost 130K subscribers in the months that followed. But this year, COVID had everyone sitting at home, and Netflix gained 28M subscribers around the world. So guess what? Netflix is raising its prices again. The basic plan stays at $9/month, but their most popular plan will go up a buck to $14/month. The premium plan that allows more people to watch the service on different screens at the same time goes up two bucks to $18/month. New subscribers in the US will be charged the higher prices immediately. Existing customers will see the increases in phases over the next several months.

Beyonce gave a rare interview to “British Vogue” for their December issue. She talks about her new Ivy Park fashion collection, her activism, and she also revealed something her fans are going to love and probably copy. The queen of the Beyhive actually has beehives! Beyonce said, “I know this is random, but I have two beehives. Real ones. I’ve had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year.” She explained, “My daughters, Blue and Rumi, both have terrible allergies, and honey has countless healing properties.”

Johnny Depp has lost his libel case against the publishers of the British tabloid, “The Sun.” Johnny sued them for calling him a “wife beater” in a 2018 article. Both sides rested their cases over 3 months ago, but the judge finally ruled in favor of the tabloid. Basically, he believed Amber Heard, who testified that Johnny abused her 14 times. A representative of Johnny’s legal team said, “This decision is as perverse as it is bewildering. Most troubling is the judge’s reliance on the testimony of Amber Heard, and corresponding disregard of the mountain of counter-evidence from police officers, medical practitioners, her own former assistant, other unchallenged witnesses and an array of documentary evidence which completely undermined the allegations, point by point. All of this was overlooked.” They plan to appeal.

Lori Loughlin quietly checked in to a low-security federal prison on Friday to begin her two-month prison sentence. She had until Nov. 19 to check in, but she’s hoping to complete her sentence and be out by Christmas. She and her husband Mossimo cut a deal to plead guilty on fraud charges after they paid $500,000 to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California. Lori got two months in jail, plus two years probation. Mossimo got five months, but hasn’t started his jail sentence yet. However, sources say unless COVID becomes an issue, Lori will most likely serve out her entire sentence and spend Christmas behind bars.

After almost 3 years of back-and-forth, Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart broke up for what seemed like for good about 7 months ago. Cole announced at the time, “Lili and I initially separated in January of this year, deciding to more permanently split in March. What an incredible experience I had, I’ll always feel lucky and cherish that I had the chance to fall in love. Last week, Cole was spotted hanging out with rumored new girlfriend Reiña Silva. But guess who spent Halloween together?? Cole and Lili popped up in their “Riverdale” co-star Vanessa Morgan’s Instagram Stories on Saturday. This doesn’t necessarily mean they’re back together, but it could be our first clue that something is brewing.”
