Six weeks in a row “Avatar: The Way of Water” sits at the top of the box office, taking in another $19.7M in the US and Canada over the weekend. Globally, the movie has passed the $2B mark. “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” was second with $11.5 million, followed by “M3gan” with $9.8M. The only new wide release came in fourth. “Missing” is a low-budget sequel to 2018’s “Searching.” The film was budgeted at $7M and debuted with $9.3M. “A Man Called Otto” rounded out the top five.

We’re not sure if this is the first time she’s met her stepmom or if this is the first time she’s seen her SINCE she became her stepmom, but North West’s security team dropped her and friend off at Nobu last night to have dinner with her dad Kanye and Bianca Censori. Sometime this month, the two of them supposedly got married in a secret ceremony. Nobody has seen any evidence of a marriage license, but they are wearing wedding rings. We’re not really sure how long Kanye and Bianca have known each other or when their relationship turned romantic. She joined Yeezy in November 2020 and became the company’s head of architecture. According to her LinkedIn, Bianca earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in architecture at the University of Melbourne.

No phones or cameras were supposed to be in there, but you know how people are. You can find footage of Beyonce performing her first live show in over four years at the Atlantis Royal in Dubai. Beyonce kicked off her 75-minute performance with “At Last” by Etta James. She also brought 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy onstage with her to sing ”Brown Skin Girl.” They even did a little choreographed routine together. Beyonce performed with a full band, the 48-member all-female orchestra Firdaus, and several backup dancers. And while she didn’t perform anything off her “Renaissance” album, Beyonce did perform some stuff she hasn’t sung in a long time, including “Beautiful Liar,” “Flaws and All,” “Halo,” “XO,” “Spirit” and “Bigger.” Among the celebrities in the invitation-only audience were Jay-Z, Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, Chloe x Halle, Liam Payne and Swedish House Mafia.

Despite rumors that they were making out and that she couldn’t keep her hands off of him, when pictures of Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart on a bowling date were posted online, Selena seemed to deny it on Instagram. In a since-deleted Story, she posted, “I like being alone too much. #iamsingle.” But then paparazzi snapped photos of Selena and Drew holding hands while going out to dinner in NYC. Sources told Us Weekly that the two of them are dating, but it’s VERY casual. So maybe Selena just isn’t ready to put a label on it?

A memorial service for Lisa Marie Presley was held at Graceland yesterday. She passed away on Jan. 12 at the age of 54. Hundreds gathered at the estate while thousands watched the livestream. Priscilla Presley shared a poem written by one of Lisa Marie’s 14-year-old twin daughters that said in part, “She always knew she wouldn’t be here too long… some say a broken heart killed her.” Lisa Marie’s son Benjamin died of suicide in July 2020. While Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough was too emotional to speak, her husband read a letter she wrote to her mom. In it, we learned that Riley secretly gave birth to a baby girl, so Lisa Marie was a grandmother. Austin Butler – who recently won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Elvis – arrived for the memorial with his girlfriend Kaia Gerber. Sara Ferguson spoke at the memorial. She and Lisa Marie became friends when they were neighbors in Sussex. Axl Rose also spoke before performing “November Rain,” and Alanis Morissette performed “Rest,” which was first performed at the memorial for Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, who died of suicide in July 2017.
