List Of Winners Of The Golden Globes & #MeToo

Box office weekend news… Brad Pitt bids over $100k… A GoFundMe account for the Time’s Up movement… Justin Timberlake draws backlash after tweet… and List of winners of the Golden Globes

After three weeks on top, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” got bumped to third. “Jumanji” took first place with $36 million in ticket sales. “Insidious: The Last Key” was second with $29.3 million. “The Last Jedi” took in another $23.6 million for third, followed by “The Last Showman” with $13.8 million and “Pitch Perfect 3” with $10.2 million.

Sean Penn held his annual gala for Haiti Saturday night and everybody’s talking about the live auction. Bidding for a night watching “Game of Thrones” with Emilia Clarke started and Brad Pitt was IN with an $80K bid. But he got a little excited and then outbid himself with $90K. There was some back and forth, but when Kit Harington offered to join the viewing party, Brad upped it to $120K. However, and anonymous bidder came in with $160K and Brad conceded.

Many celebrities are putting their money where there mouths are. A Go Fund Me account has been set up for the Time’s Up movement, to raise money for a legal defense fund for those who’s suffered sexual harassment or abuse in the workplace. Meryl Streep, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock and Shonda Rhimes all donated half a million dollars! Taylor Swift donated $100K while Ellen Pompeo chipped in $50K. Among those giving $25K were Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, and A-list couple Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, who’s getting slammed for his participation in the #TimesUp movement. More on that in the next story. But Steven Spielberg has donated the most to the Time’s Up fund so far. He made a $2 million donation through his Wunderkinder Foundation. The Time’s Up Go Fund Me page has a goal of raising $16 million and they’re close to hitting it. You can donate at

So Justin Timberlake… He posted a selfie of him and his Golden Globes-nominated wife Jessica Biel about to leave for the ceremony. He captioned it, “Here we come!! And DAMN, my wife is hot! #TIMESUP #whywewearblack.” The response was brutal. Why? Well, Justin is in Woody Allen’s latest movie, “Wonder Wheel.” And Woody’s adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, claims that he sexually assaulted her when she was just a child. Woody says he didn’t do it and that this was all made up by Dylan’s mother, Mia Farrow. But Dylan wrote an open letter to the New York Times in 2014 talking about the abuse, and then last month, she published an op-ed piece in the Los Angeles Times calling out women like Kate Winslet and Blake Lively for working with Woody. So now the Twitterverse is calling out Justin. Among the responses to his post:

“you literally worked with a known predator and are starring in his movie”

“Justin Timberlake has had enough and is speaking against sexual abuse in the entertainment industry (now that Wonder Wheel has no award season buzz)”

“‘I’m starring in a well known rapist/pedophile director movie this year but I wore black at the #GoldenGlobes so that’s ok.’ #WoodyAllen #WhyWeWearBlack #TIMESUP”

Here we come!! And DAMN, my wife is hot! #TIMESUP #whywewearblack
