Chrissy Teigen roasts John Legend… Lori Loughlin’s defense… Get ready to register… Sam Hunt will perform… and Lizzo cancels two performances
Chrissy Tiegen blew a gasket when hubby John Legend didn’t give her the heads up that “The Voice” finale was last night and that he’d invited everyone over for dinner. She tweeted her frustration about not having time to put together a big “finale” meal, get a cake or hire an ice cream truck. She added, “If u think this is stupid go ahead and tell me what you made when Blake Kelly and Gwen came over to your house.” And when people started accusing her of spoiling the ending, she tweeted, “I don’t understand why everyone thinks I spoiled it. Everyone is coming to dinner and I don’t know the winner!” But I’M going to spoil it for you now so …….. SPOILER ALERT! Congratulation to Kelly Clarkson. Her guy Jake Hoot won Season 17.
A source told People magazine that Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo honestly thought they were making legitimate donations to USC and that they were “hoodwinked” by the college bribery ringleader, Rick Singer. Their source says the couple believed all the money went straight to USC for “legitimate, university-approved purposes or to other legitimate charitable causes,” NOT into Mr. Singer’s pocket. The source says this is why Lori won’t plead guilty because she believes she IS innocent and that the evidence shown in court will prove that.

Ariana Grande is less than 1000 people away for setting the new record for the most voters registered on a tour. Back in 2016, she threw her support behind Hillary Clinton, but in 2020, Ariana is all about Bernie Sanders. In fact, when he came to see her perform in Atlanta last month, she tweeted pictures of the two of them backstage and called Bernie, “my guy.”

The lineup for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest is filling up. So far, it includes Alanis Morissette, BTS, Post Malone and Sam Hunt. This will be Sam’s first performance since his arrest last month for driving the wrong way down a Nashville highway while extremely intoxicated. The legal limit is .08 and Sam registered .173. Sam is due in court on January 17 to face the music for what he calls “a poor and selfish decision” that put other people’s lives at risk.

Lizzo has had to cancel two performances this week due to a case of the flu. She tweeted a request for our prayers on Monday, saying she’s never been this sick before. But yesterday, Lizzo posted a picture of her thermometer that read 98.3 and captioned it, “NO MORE FEVER THANK U GOD.” And since you have to be fever-free for 24 hours to be given the all clear, she should be good to go by Saturday night, when she’s set to perform on Saturday Night Live, with Eddie Murphy serving as host.
