MTV VMA Nominations… Bachelor/Bachelorette update… Tori Spelling seen living in RV park… Tory Lanez has been sentenced… and ‘MADE IN AMERICA’ music festival has been cancelled

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards nominations are out, and the women dominate. Taylor Swift leads the pack with eight nominations, including Artist of the Year and Video of the Year. In fact, of the seven nominations for Video of the Year, six are women. In addition to Taylor’s “Anti-Hero,” Doja Cat’s “Attention,” Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers,” Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire,” and SZA’s “Kill Bill” are all up for Video of the Year. Sam Smith and Kim Petras are also nominated for their “Unholy” video. These names come up a lot in the nominations. Behind Taylor’s eight nominations, SZA has six. Doja Cat, Miley, Nicki, Olivia, Kim Petras and Sam Smith each have five. BLACKPINK, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Shakira each have four. The ceremony is scheduled to air live on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Bachelor Nation news: Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick have ended their engagement, but they’re both so torn up about it, I don’t know why they don’t just get back together. When their relationship went up in flames — Kaitlyn accused Shawn of using her for fame — she started dating Jason, who had been one of Becca Kufrin’s suitors on “The Bachelorette.” But now after four years, that relationship has also run its course. In their joint statement, Kaitlyn and Jason say they will continue to coparent their dogs, Ramen and Pinot, saying, “While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together.” Recently, Kailtlyn’s ex Shawn announced he’s expecting a baby this December with photographer Dre Joseph. And Kaitlyn’s former hookup Nick Viall just announced he and his fiancée Natalie Joy are expecting their first child.

What the heck is going on with Tori Spelling. She said she had to move out of her rental home because black mold issues were making her and her kids sick. After living temporarily in a $100/night motel room, “Million Dollar Listing” star Josh Flagg — who is a very close friend of Tori’s mom Candy Spelling and reportedly considers Tori to be like a sister — offer to let her and her kids livi in his Bel-Air mansion while he was in Europe. But after being there less than a week, Tori packed up the kids and moved into an RV. And no, this isn’t a luxury vehicle. She and 5 kids ages 6-16 are living in a pretty standard RV at a park in Ventura County. Sources say Tori’s mom has offered to pay for a house and Josh has been sending her tons of listings, but Tori reuses. A source close to this said none of this makes any sense. The source told Page Six, “All (Josh and Candy) want to do is show her houses. They’ve pushed and pushed and pushed. She’s electing to do these crazy stupid stunts.”

In July 2020, Megan Thee Stallion, her best friend Kelsey Harris, and Tory Lanez had just left a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house. On their way home, they got into an argument and Megan demanded to be let out of the car. When she got out, she claimed Tory fired several shots at her feet, shouting, “Dance, b****!” She was taken to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. While he was on trial, Tory said it was Kelsey who shot Megan, but the jury didn’t buy it and he was found guilty. Tory was facing a maximum of 22 years in prison, but the prosecutors were asking for 13. After reading through about 70 letters of support for Tory — including one from Iggy Azalea who asked for a sentence “that is transformational, not life destroying” — the judge decided 10 years behind bars was an appropriate punishment. When the sentence was announced, several of his family members — including Tory’s dad and stepmom — had to be escorted from the courtroom.

More people are coming forward to back up three of Lizzo’s former backup dancers who are suing her for harassment and mistreatment. Ron Zambrano specializes in employment law, and he’s representing Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez and Crystal Williams in this Lizzo lawsuit. The most shocking claims come from their February trip to Amsterdam, when Lizzo not only pressured these women to go to the infamous Red Light District, she pressured them into touching some of the nude performers and encouraged them to eat bananas from very bad places. Noelle said when she told Lizzo she wanted to quit because she felt unsafe and disrespected, Lizzo “basically started to ball up her fists and crack her knuckles, and she was like ‘You’re so effin lucky right now’ as she’s like inching her way towards me.’ She said that’s when Lizzo’s best friend jumped off the couch and had to physically restrain her. Now that these women’s stories are out there, their lawyer said six more people who claimed to have toured with Lizzo, either as back-up dancers or on the her Amazon studios show, have come to him with complaints ranging from being forced to work in a sexually charged environment to not getting paid.
