Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s custody battle over Rocco

“High School Musical 4”?… Foo Fighters have a huge announcement… Adele visits a terminally ill fan… Justin Bieber’s wax figure… and Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s custody battle

Can you believe they’re making “High School Musical 4”????  The Disney Channel has begun a nationwide casting search for the kids who get to play the East High Wildcats and their crosstown rivals, the West High Knights. The first “High School Musical” debuted on January 20, 2006, and gave the Disney Channel its highest ratings ever up to that point. “High School Musical 2” is the number one basic cable telecast of all time. And they took “High School Musical 3” to the big screen. It ended up grossing over $250 million worldwide.

The Foo Fighters tweeted yesterday that they have a huge announcement, but we have to wait until tonight to find out what it is. Many think Dave Grohl will announce a solo project. In fact, Page Six says his Oscars performance of “Blackbird” was Dave’s “big entrance into his solo career.” But others are optimistic that the band will announce they’re headlining Glastonbury Festival’s Saturday night lineup this June. Muse is headlining Friday and Coldplay on Sunday. Remember, the Foo Fighters had to pull out of the headline slot last year after Dave broke his leg at a concert in Sweden.

When her tour stopped in Belfast, Ireland, Adele paid a surprise visit to a terminally ill fan. Twelve-year old Rebecca Gibney is blind and suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Her mother says Rebecca listens to Adele’s music from the time she wakes up until she goes to sleep at night. So she launched a social media campaign last year asking Adele to stop by and meet her daughter. It worked! After the visit, mom told the local paper that Adele played with Rebecca’s hair and then held her daughter’s hand and talked all about the movie “Frozen.” Rebecca says she still can’t believe she met Adele and that she’s “just over the moon.”

Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas celebrated Justin Bieber’s big 2-2 yesterday by giving the world a shirtless Biebs! And yes, he is looking FINE, from the neck down. The face sorta looks like that tap-dancing Derek kid from “Full House.” But they did Justin right on his chest and abs. They covered him in more than 50 tattoos, too, including the one of Selena Gomez that he had to change up a bit after their final breakup. According to Madame Tussauds, it took 20 artists three months to create this particular wax figure. It’s valued at $350K. The display also includes a 5-foot-tall, four layer birthday cake with each layer partitioned by a custom gold edible zipper or gold chain. It was created by Cake Boss’ Kaiulani Delgado.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie go head-to-head in court today as they battle it out over custody of their 15-year-old son Rocco. He was on tour with his mom but when they made a stop in England in December, Rocco jumped ship and moved in with his dad. Madonna believes Guy is way too permissive and that Rocco has suffered as a result. Exhibit A: her son’s broken arm. She’s been bashing Guy’s parenting skills non-stop, but it’s only made Rocco more defiant. Now she’s trying a different approach. Sources say Madonna has been trying to win Rocco back by professing her undying love.
