Jennifer Hudson claimed she was afraid of her now former fiancé David Otunga and got a protective order against him, but David says she only did it because she was afraid she was going to lose primary custody of their 8-year-old son. Now Jennifer has suffered a blow in court because TMZ is reporting that a judge has granted David primary custody of David Jr., at least for now. Jennifer is flying back and forth between London and LA because of work her gigs on The Voice UK and The Voice.

We found out a few days ago that Jennifer Lawrence broke up with her director boyfriend Darren Aronofsky and we were joking that it was because of their horribly reviewed movie “mother!” It turns out, we were right! She was being interviewed by Adam Sandler for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, and it sounds like the audience’s reaction to that movie did her and Darren in. Jennifer said, “Normally, I promote a movie, ask people to go see it, and then it’s just out of your hands. I normally just kind of let it go. Dating the director was different. We’d be on the (press) tour together, I’d come back to the hotel, and the last thing I want to talk about or think about is a movie.” But she said all he would want to talk about was that danged movie, which she totally gets, because it was all his idea — he wrote it and directed it. And while she tried to be a supportive girlfriend, Jennifer said she was also like, “Can I please, for the love of God, not think about ‘mother!’ for one second?” She said he would literally start reading negative reviews to her and it just became an unhealthy situation.

First he unfollowed her, but that wasn’t enough for The Weeknd. He went through his Instagram and deleted every single picture of Selena Gomez. She is being a little more mature about it — at least for now. She has several photos of Abel (his real name) on her Instagram wall…the most recent from September 5, which was about a month before they broke up.

We got some more details about the Royal Wedding! Kensington Palace tweeted, “The marriage of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018.” That will be about a month after Prince William and his wife Kate welcome baby number 3. The royal family also wants us all to know that Meghan’s parents aren’t coughing up any cash for the wedding. They got this. We won’t know the couple’s title until their wedding day, but royal experts believe they’ll become known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“Today” show viewers were a little surprised to see Hoda Kotb sitting next to Savannah Guthrie this morning instead of Matt Lauer. But then they were in for a huge shock — Matt Lauer had been fired for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. Savannah said they just found out about it a few minutes before they had to go live, but she held it together as she read the official statement from NBC News chairman Andy Lack, who said the company received a “detailed complaint” from a colleague which led to a “serious review.” And “while it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over 20 years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with a reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”
