Like her great-grandfather, her grandfather and her father before her, Dwayne Johnson’s daughter Simone is now a professional wrestler. She is the WWE’s first ever fourth generation performer. For a while now, a mysterious masked woman has been appearing on WWE NXT as part of the four-member group, The Schism. On last night’s show, the mask was taken off to reveal Ava Raine, aka Simone Johnson, Dwayne’s 21-year-old daughter. After the reveal, she said, “The love and acceptance The Schism has given me defies any preconceived notions of who I’m supposed to be, This family completes me. I am Ava Raine.” Simone actually signed her deal with the WWE back in February 2020, but then the world shut down. And now Simone finally gets to do what she says she’s wanted to do her whole life.

He just barely recovered from hosting the Emmys and now Kenan Thompson has agreed to come back and host the People’s Choice Awards, airing Dec. 6 on both NBC and E! These awards are literally chosen by the people, and you can cast your votes for your favorite movies, TV shows, actors, singers and pop culture icons now through Nov. 9 at VotePCA.com.

What was up with Katy Perry’s eye the other night? During a performance of her Vegas residency, Katy is standing there facing the audience as her right eye slowly slams shut. She pressed her finger to the side of her temple and her eye popped back open. But then just as quickly, her eye slammed shut again. It took a couple tries to get it to stay open, but then, it was on with the show. What was that about? A lot of people online speculated that this wasn’t Katy. It was her clone or a robot and it suffered a computer glitch. Others thought maybe she was having a medical emergency. There’s also a group of people who believe it was part of Katy’s act because in her residency, she’s playing a toy doll in a giant toy box. So she maybe she was trying to be like one of those dolls with blinking eyes and one of them seems to always get stuck? Katy hasn’t addressed it, but last year on “American Idol,” she told a contestant with a lazy eye that he needed to celebrate it. She said, “I have a wonk eye as well, and I used to be worried about it. Then a bunch of my fans created a fandom over my wonk-eye. I even have a fandom that calls itself, ‘Katy’s wonk-eye.’ Katy said it was her right eye, so maybe it was just acting wonky during her concert.

Matthew Perry’s memoir comes out on Tuesday. He’ll tell you how he wooed Julia Roberts and then dumped her because of his insecurities…he’ll talk about how he had to drop out of what would’ve been the biggest movie of his career because his heart stopped beating for five minutes….but what has me not wanting to buy this book and put another penny in Matthew Perry’s over-flowing bank account is his random — and apparently baseless — hatred for Keanu Reeves. Page Six calls it “bizarre.” In the book, Matthew writes, “Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?” Matthew made his very first movie in 1988 called “A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon,” starring River Phoenix. They became very close friends while filming. Then five years later, at the age of 23, River died of a drug overdose outside the Viper Room. Matthew wrote, “River was a beautiful man inside and out and too beautiful for this world, it turned out. It always seems to be the really talented guys who go down.” Then later, he talks about co-starring in the 1988 movie “Almost Heroes” with Chris Farley. Fast forward to 1997 when Chris died of a drug overdose and Matthew heard about it while on the set of “Friends.” He wrote, “I punched a hole through Jennifer Aniston’s dressing room wall when I found out. Keanu Reeves walks among us.” According to IMDb.com, Matthew and Keanu have never worked together on any projects, so why does Matthew wish him dead?? the two have no co-starred in any projects.
