Megan Thee Stallion Says She Was Shot in the Foot

Twitters hack… Jake Paul is bored… Nick Cannon issued an apology… Daddy bought baby a Birkin… and Megan Thee Stallion says she was shot

A whole bunch of celebrities, rich people and politicians had their Twitters hacked yesterday. Whoever was behind it was trying to scam people out of Bitcoins. Elon Musk seems to have been the first one hacked. His hacker tweeted out, “Everyone is asking me to give back, and now is the time. I am doubling all payments sent to my Bitcoin address for the next 30 minutes. You send $1,000, I send you back $2,000. Only going on for 30 minutes! Enjoy!” And they added a link. That same message then started popping up on other famous Tweeters, like Kim and Kanye, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet…..We’re not sure how much the hackers got, but at one point, one of the fake Bitcoin wallets had received more than $100,000 in Bitcoins through hundreds of transactions. Twitter apologized for the breach and temporarily suspended the accounts that were targeted. The FBI is looking into it.

Like most major US cities, LA has seen a huge spike in coronavirus cases, causing the governor to start shutting things down again. But Jake Paul is bored. And since he can’t go out to the clubs, he decided to turn his home in Calabasas into one and invited HUNDREDS of people. People were posting pictures and videos all over social media. Yes, everyone is having a blast, but nobody’s wearing a mask and they’re all over each other. The mayor of Calabasas released a statement saying she and everyone who saw those videos is outraged over this blatant disregard for everything being done to get things back to functioning. She said, “It’s really just a party acting like COVID does not exist, it’s acting that businesses aren’t closed.” The mayor said she will be working with the sheriff’s office to ensure that, moving forward, there is a zero-tolerance policy on these types of parties.

ViacomCBS fired Nick Cannon after he refused to apologize for some anti-Semitic and racist comments he made on a recent podcast, which was posted to YouTube. He said he wasn’t being hateful. He was speaking the truth. But then Fox had a little chat with Nick, who apparently had a sudden change of heart. Nick decided to apologize, posting, “…I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth…They reinforced the worst stereotypes of a proud and magnificent people and I feel ashamed of the uninformed and naïve place that these words came from. The video of this interview has since been removed.” Fox then released a statement saying Nick didn’t intend to promote hate, and now that he’s “sincerely apologized and quickly taken steps to educate himself and make amends,” he gets to keep his job hosting “The Masked Singer.” By the way, Nick claims he also reached out to the chair of ViacomCBS, but a spokesperson for the company said that is “absolutely untrue.”

Cardi B and Offset’s baby girl Kulture just turned 2. Daddy surprised her with a mini pink Birkin and posted the video on Instagram. Kulture wasn’t exactly jumping up and down over her new designer bag, which reportedly retails for $8K. And OF COURSE people had comments. One said, “She don’t want that she want a (BLANKING) barbie.” And OF COURSE Cardi B had something to say to all the haters. She posted on her IG Stories, “Yea, kids only care about toys and candy. But the thing is, kids also go outside. Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places. Celebrity kids, they go do red carpets. And if I’m fly, and daddy’s fly, then so is the kid. If I’m wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid’s having the same thing. It’s not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they’d be outside in diapers. No, cause if I was looking like a bad b***h, expensive b***h, and I had my kid looking like a bum bum, then y’all would be talking s***. So, I’m not mad that daddy bought baby a Birkin. She gonna match mommy.”

TMZ posted earlier this week that gunshots were fired at a party in LA around 4:30am Sunday and when police responded, they pulled over an SUV being driven by rapper Tory Lanez. In the car with him were Megan Thee Stallion and another woman, who hasn’t been named. Police arrested Tory on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon in his vehicle. They also noticed that Megan’s feet were covered in blood, and TMZ says she told them she’d cute her feet on broken glass. They even posted video of Megan getting out of the SUV and leaving a trail of bloody footprints. Megan finally spoke out, posting this statement: “The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight. On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and one with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I’m currently focused on my recover, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.” She captioned the statement, “I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.” She did not reveal who shot her or why.
