When NBC announced they were doing a reboot of “Saved by the Bell” for their new streaming service Peacock, that was news to Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski! Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley were both signed on to come back, but Mark Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen were like, This is the first we’ve heard about it. But that has all since changed. On Wednesday, Mark Paul announced, “Everybody can sleep well at night. It looks like you will have us in some capacity.” Sources say Mark will only be on the show for 3 episodes. We’re not sure if that’s the same case for Tiffani. No word on Lark Voorhies or Dustin Diamond, who played Lisa Turtle and Screech. The reboot is set to premiere in April, and here’s the official synopsis: “When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest-performing schools in the state—including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much needed and hilarious dose of reality.”

Depending on your package, you could pay up to $6000 for the trip. But on August 26, for one day only and for an extra $750, you can experience all things Goop! They’re promising “trailblazing healers, transformative workshops, and goopy perks.” Gwyneth told USA Today that she thinks being near the sea or in the sea is energetically cleansing, so the cruise makes sense. But Gwyneth also told USA Today she’s not sure how long she will “personally” be on the ship. Um, that translates to a couple hours on August 26 and she’s outta there.

Cody Simpson turns 23 on January 11, but Miley Cyrus won’t be with him to celebrate. She decided to give him his birthday present early, which Cody showed off on his IG Story yesterday. Miley gave Cody a bag that she had personalized with “Prince Neptune.” That’s Cody’s pseudonym when he write poetry, and in fact, his book of poems will be available on April 7. Before you think, “Celebrities are just like us!” don’t think Miley ordered this thing off Etsy. This was a doctor’s bag from the 1800s! For Christmas, Miley gave Cody a pocket watch that was also from the 1800s. She also had it inscribed, “Until the end of time — Love Miley.”

Selena Gomez’s new album “Rare” is out today — her first album since 2015’s “Revival.” Selena released an emotional video about her new album, saying it took two years of many “drastic” life changes for this thing to finally come together. She said, “Honestly, this album was kind of a nightmare to deal with…but in the best way possible.” She started bawling when talking about her fans, saying, “The most heartbreaking conversations are where they’re just telling me that they’re suffering. I never understood it. When people would say ‘it saved my life,’ I just didn’t understand that. And I always wish I could just grab every single one of them in their face and just tell them how loved they are, how important they are, how they’re capable of absolutely anything. And if I did all of this and I’m just a girl from Texas and it’s still happening for me…you can do anything.” She also says she won’t be doing any more sexy music videos, because they’re simply not necessary. She had this epiphany back in 2016 when her video for “Hands To Myself” played at her album release party and her little sister Gracie was in the audience. Selena had no idea they’d be playing the video in front of her baby sister and she was mortified. That’s when she vowed to her Gracie that she wouldn’t be doing any more overtly sexual videos because they’re simply “not necessary.”

Meghan Markle flew back to Canada to pick up her baby, Archie. Prince Harry and Meghan left him there with her best friend Jessica Mulroney and a nanny while they flew back to London to announce they were stepping down from their positions in the Royal Family. Sources say Meghan is expected to return with Archie to London in the next few days, but in the meantime, Harry is there dealing with the fallout. Sources say Harry and Meghan rushed the announcement because a tabloid was about to break the story and they wanted the news out there on their own terms. They gave Prince Charles and Prince William the heads up about 10 minutes before they did it. However! Sources say this has been in the works for a while now. According to the Evening Standard, sometime before the holidays, Harry told his father that he and Meghan wanted to let go of some of their duties, live abroad part-time and try to support themselves. Charles reportedly asked for a written proposal, which Harry drafted while in Vancouver and sent his father. Charles said they’d need some time to figure it all out and how they could fund this new plan. Harry also asked to meet with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, but she said she wanted him to work things out with Charles first. However, she also gave him strict orders not to announce anything publicly. Now they’re all trying to figure out where they will go from here.
