Moving Trucks Spotted at Julia Roberts & Danny Modor’s Home

Weekend box office news… Vanessa Williams gets her apology… Lawsuit against Taylor Swift… Adrian Grenier’s 9/11 post… and Moving trucks spotted at Julia Roberts & Danny Modor’s home

I can’t see “The Perfect Guy” because I’m afraid it will freak me out so bad I’ll never go out on a date again, but there were enough people who weren’t scared and made that movie number one at the box office with $26.7 million. And M. Night Shyamalan redeemed himself a little when his new thriller “The Visit” debuted in second with $25.7 million. Last week’s unexpected number one hit “The War Room” fell to third with $7.4 million.

On Friday, TMZ reported drama behind the scenes of the Miss America Pageant. Reportedly, Vanessa Williams agreed to come back as head judge because pageant officials were going to apologize to her for taking away her crown in 1984 after naughty photos were made public. But pageant officials were under the impression she was going to apologize the them! It looks like the pageant caved because pageant CEO Sam Haskell apologized to Vanessa “for anything that was said or done that made you feel any less than the Miss America you are.” And in the end, it was all about who won this year’s crown, and that would be Miss Georgia, Betty Cantrell.

Congrats on your new title of #MissAmerica 2016, Betty Cantrell! #ThereSheIs 👑 -MAO

A former DJ from Denver has filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift. David Mueller says he lost his job two years ago when one of Taylor’s security team told his bosses that David grabbed Taylor’s butt when they were taking a picture together. In his lawsuit, David says not only did he NOT grab Taylor’s bottom, he’s met with MANY other celebrities and there’s never been another butt-grabbing accusation.

Friday was the 14th anniversary of 9/11, and Adrian Grenier shared a post on Instagram that stirred a lot of people us. It featured an image of the Twin Towers and said, “R.I.P. the 2,996 Americans who died in 9/11. R.I.P. the 1,455,590 innocent Iraqis who died during the US invasion for something they didn’t do.” Many slammed Adrian for being “classless” and called it a “slap in the face” to the victims of 9/11. Adrian decided to delete the post, which led to ever more criticism. One wrote, “Nice job coward. Real conviction you have, deleting your post and all.”

When moving trucks show up at celebrities’ homes, that can only mean one thing — DIVORCE! At least, that’s the conclusion we all jump to. And while Julia Roberts was in NYC enjoying the perks of being an A-lister during Fashion Week, moving trucks were at her home in Malibu. There have been rumors that her marriage to Danny Moder has been in trouble for a while now. Sources told RadarOnline.com back in November that Julia and Danny fought a lot about money. The source said, “Julia said she doled out millions of dollars in mortgage payments for (Danny’s father). She helped him out for at least five years, and she got tired of footing the bill.” Another source said that Julia’s mom never liked Danny and didn’t hide it. In fact, Danny didn’t go to his mother-in-law’s funeral in February.
