The pandemic has changed just about every business, especially the movie business. Now, movie studios are testing out releasing movies in theaters and on streaming services the same day or just straight to streaming. Disney’s CEO Bob Chapek said this experiment will be permanent. He said in a new interview “the consumer is more impatient than ever before…and had the luxury of an entire year of getting titles at home pretty much when they want them. So, I’m not sure there’s going back. But we certainly don’t want to do anything like cut the legs off a theatrical run.” Disney released its remake of “Mulan” as a premium title for $29.99 for Disney+ subscribers. The newest movie “Raya and the Last Dragon” will be released this Friday on Disney+ with the $29.99 price tag. One of the biggest questions in the movie industry right now is how Disney will release Marvel’s “Black Widow” in May. Currently, they are releasing it in theaters only.

A 61-year-old man collapsed at an airport in Newark, NJ, Monday night. Lucky for him, Dr. Oz and family had just arrived at the airport and saw it all go down. Dr. Oz rushed over and noticed the man wasn’t breathing. He had no pulse and he was foaming at the mouth. Dr. Oz performed CPR and was then able to use one of the airport’s emergency defibrillators to get the man’s heart beating again. The was taken to the hospital, but we don’t have an update on his current condition.

After turning snitch on his former gang to get a shortened sentence, Tekashi 6ix9ine will most likely have to have round-the-clock armed security for the rest of his life. But he’s now being sued by a security company he hired back in 2018, before he was locked up. The security company says Tekashi owes them $75K for armed security and the use of their armored vehicles. They are suing for the amount owed, as well as late and legal fees, bringing the total to $88K. But his attorney says Tekashi’s booking agency at the time is responsible for covering the tab, and that Tekashi has nothing to do with it.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are sitting down with Oprah for a no-questions-off-limits interview this Sunday night on CBS. A source said this interview has been two years in the making. Meghan actually arranged an interview with Gayle King right after her son Archie was born in 2019. At the time, the source said Meghan was hoping to do a short interview about her time adjusting to Royal life and becoming a new mom, but the Royal Family’s PR department shut it down. They were afraid any interview Meghan gave to US media outlets would alienate the UK press. But now that Megzit is complete, the handcuffs are off! And forget about what would’ve been a short and sweet interview with Gayle. Now Harry and Meghan are free to share their truth with Queen Oprah.

Reality Steve says he can confirm that the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette” will be filmed at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya just outside Albuquerque, which sits on 550 acres of the Native American Santa Ana Pueblo and offers 3 outdoor pools, a wellness spa, horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, and tours of historic ruins. While the Bachelorette has yet to be named, ABC executive Rob Mills said, “…With 99.99% certainty, the Bachelorette is going to be someone who comes from one of our previous seasons. Probably Matt’s, but at least someone who is familiar to Bachelor Nation.” However, former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay believe ABC needs to tap the brakes on this entire project. On her “Higher Learning” podcast, Rachel said, “I think they should just stop until … they get the train back on the tracks. You’re going to go another season, but you still have all of these issues. How have you fixed them coming into a new season? You really haven’t. I think that they need to take a beat, figure things out, regroup and then bring the product back to us in a way that we can all enjoy it like we used to.”
