Poor Angelina Jolie had to go back to work to pay some bills, but her efforts tanked at the box office. “Those Who Wish Me Dead” is the story of a teenager who witnesses his father’s murder and then goes on the run with Angelina’s character. It opened with $2.8M for a third place finish. You could put part of the blame on the fact that the movie also opened on HBO Max, but “Godzilla vs. Kong” and “Mortal Kombat” did the same thing and earned way more money on their opening weekends. Apparently, people want to escape with the mindless entertainment of CGI and explosions and not get bogged down with intense, emotional drama right now. Coming in first this weekend was “Spiral,” the new chapter from the book of “Saw” starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson. It opened with $8.7M. Jason Statham’s “Wrath of Man” dropped to No. 2 with $3.7 million.

Jake Paul is with authorities in Puerto Rico. Jake and his brother Logan bought a $10M house there and Logan invited some friends down to hang. He posted a video of them riding around the beach in souped-up golf carts, but it happens to be the middle of turtle nesting season, which made that illegal. Jake deleted the video, but it was too late and now authorities are involved. Jake’s rep said he didn’t know about turtle nesting season and would never knowing put the turtles in danger. He just saw other people driving on the beach and assumed it was okay. But now that he knows better, the rep said Jake will cooperate with authorities and do what he can to help protect and preserve the beaches.

Minka Kelly and Trevor Noah were first linked back in August but never confirmed their relationship. Despite previously saying he’d never live with a girlfriend, Trevor bought a 6-bedroom $27.5M mansion in Bel Air and paparazzi caught photos of Minka moving in. But now, Trevor gets to enjoy all that space all by his lonesome because sources say the two of them have broken up.

Target said their decision to pull Chrissy Teigen’s line of cookware was a mutual decision made back in December that had nothing to do with her decade-old bullying drama with Courtney Stodden. However, Macy’s has just pulled Chrissy’s cookware line from its website. However, Ellen DeGeneres’ controversy wasn’t an issue for them because they’re still carrying her home collection.

Sources told TMZ that late Saturday night, Nick Jonas was injured on the set of some project he was filming and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. That is literally all they could find out. Nobody would say what the injury was or even what Nick was filming! But their sources say Nick was back home by Sunday night and will appear as scheduled on “The Voice” tonight where he’s serving as a coach.
