“The Handmaid’s Tale” sequel… Hugh Hefner’s estate… Mel B surgically removes a tattoo… Lindsay Lohan’s comeback… and Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are going to be married

If you love “The Handmaid’s Tale,” you’re going to love this. Margaret Atwood wrote the book on which the Hulu series is based. She’s busy working on a sequel to that book called The Testaments, which is scheduled for release on Sept. 10, 2019. Ms. Atwood says this book is set 15 years after Offred’s final scene in The Handmaid’s Tale, but Entertainment Weekly says they’ve learned that this book will not be connected to the TV series. The Hulu series has been renewed for its third season.

Some things from Hugh Hefner’s estate are being auctioned off this week and Page Six has listed some of the more unusual items up for bid. Hugh was famous for lounging in robes and at least one is expected to go for $2000. Maybe you’d be interested in a sculpture of Farrah Fawcett’s naked torso which was made by Farrah herself. It’s actually really cool. There’s also an acrylic sculpture of a bottle of baby oil….lots of phallic sculptures including a particularly interesting tabletop neon sign. They’ve got these huge Fourth of July waterslides to auction off as well as an adult-sized Easter Bunny costume that comes with a snappy yellow vest and bowtie.

Mel B is out with a book and she’s really telling more than she probably should. But while promoting it on a British talk show called “Loose Women,” she revealed something that could be considered disturbing. If you keep up with the tabloids, you know that Mel B and Stephen Belafonte went through a very nasty divorce battle. But when they were in love, Mel B got a tattoo on her ribs that said “Stephen, Till death do us part, You own my heart.” Rather than go through painful laser treatments to remove it, Mel convinced a doctor to surgically remove the tattoo and she keeps the skin in a jar on top of her wardrobe! She said, “Nobody can see it, but I know it’s there and it’s off my body.” She admitted, “It sounds horrific, but what I went through was so horrific.”

Lindsay Lohan is on the comeback trail. She’s got a new show with MTV coming out at some point next year. The title is expected to be announced this week. But according to The Blast, the show is being billed as a “live action, comedy and drama” that will follow Lindsay’s adventures running a beach club in Mykonos, Greece.

According to multiple sources, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are going to be married tomorrow in India with two ceremonies, one Western and one Indian. They reportedly will have a big celebration later in New York for those who can’t make the trip. We’re checking the tabloids for pictures of the celebrities expected to arrive for the wedding. Some of those expected to attend include Dwayne Johnson, Kelly Ripa, and Lupita Nyong’o. And even though Priyanka was a guest at their wedding, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren’t expected to attend. Do you realize that Nick and Priyanka weren’t even dating at the Royal Wedding and now they’re getting married??
