Four more “Transformers” movies are on the way. The head of Hasbro Studios dropped the news at a conference in Cannes, France, that the fifth through ninth “Transformers” movies will be released over the next 10 years. The movies’ plots have already been mapped out by a team of writers led by the Oscar-winning screenwriter of “A Beautiful Mind.” The directors of the movies are still unknown. Michael Bay directed the first four but he hasn’t signed on for the fifth just yet. Why keep doing these movies? The first four have grossed nearly $3.8 billion worldwide. That’s why.
According to the “National Enquirer,” Planet Hollywood had this brilliant idea. They wanted to get Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera together for one big pop diva show featuring all of their greatest hits. Reportedly, Christina’s manager turned the offer down flat, saying that unlike Britney, Mariah and JLo, Christina is still in the prime of her career and hasn’t peaked yet! And a source quotes Christina as saying, “Why would I go to Vegas and join Britney and Mariah in an oldies act? I don’t have to spend three nights a week reliving the past. I would get more fans doing a season of ‘The Voice!’”
Just two days after Amber Rose got up at her SlutWalk and said she forgave Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa for slut-shaming her, it looks like she and Wiz are back together!!! She posted a picture of the two of them cuddling cheek to cheek, captioning it, “Still ballin’” with that emoji of heart eyes. Amber and Wiz were married for a year when she filed for divorce in September of last year. The divorce was never finalized.
Justin Bieber drops his new album on November 13. Last week, he made a joke on Snapchat that many assumed was a jab at One Direction for deciding to release their album the same day, and it looks like they assumed correctly! During an interview with a New Zealand radio station, Justin was asked if he had a theory for why 1D would choose the same date and he said, “They’re not really going on the road much, but we’re talking about them right now, so it gives them some promo, right?” So, that’s probably why they did it… I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first.” Justin’s not bothered by the competition, though. He said, “It’s whatever. It’s going to be fun. I’m excited to see what happens.”
There are conflicting stories about the wedding of Isabella Cruise. First it was reported that none of Isabella’s family was there — not her parents, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, nor her brother, Connor. Then it was reported that Tom wasn’t there because Isabella was marrying a non-Scientologist and didn’t support the union. Then it was reported that Tom wasn’t there, but he paid for it, and Connor was there. Now some outlets are reporting that Tom and Connor were both there and Nicole was the only one iced out. So far, neither Tom nor Nicole’s reps have commented.
