Nominations for the 58th annual Grammy Awards

Weekend box office news… Calvin Harris is sick of all the hate… Is Selena Gomez and Niall Horan dating?… Kim Kardashian West gave birth to her baby boy… and Nominations for the 58th annual Grammy Awards

“Mockingjay – Part 2” still rules the box office, earning another $18.6 million in its third weekend. Coming in second was the new Christmas-themed horror movie “Krampus,” which debuted in second with $16 million. Coming in third was the “Rocky” spinoff “Creed” with $15.5 million.

His 4.4 million followers are out of luck! Reportedly sick of all the hate he gets, Calvin Harris has switched his Instagram to private. Sources say Calvin’s tired of all the comments criticizing his relationship with Taylor Swift and those who would rather see her back with Harry Styles. Some go so far as to say they’d rather see Taylor in a relationship with Karlie Kloss instead of Calvin.

Selena Gomez and One Direction both performed at the Jingle Ball in LA Friday night and apparently sparks flew between Selena and Niall Horan. They both headed over to Bootsy Bellows for Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s 35th birthday party and sources say the two of them were dancing all up on each other and maybe sneaking a little kiss or two. The next day, Selena and Niall went on a date to the Santa Monica Pier where they rode the roller coaster, got ice cream and held hands! It was a group date, though. Liam Payne and a couple of other girls were there, too.

Her due date was Christmas Day, but Kim Kardashian West gave birth to her baby boy on Saturday. Her sister Kourtney was by her side throughout labor. Kim and Kanye still haven’t picked a name for the baby. Sources say they’ve decided on “Robert” for his middle name, in honor of Kim’s late father. As for now, the couple are simply calling him “Little Man.”

The nominations for the 58th annual Grammy Awards were announced this morning. Kendrick Lamar leads with 11, followed by Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, with seven each. Drake has five nominations. Up for Album of the Year:  Sound & Color” — Alabama Shakes; “To Pimp A Butterfly” — Kendrick Lamar; “Traveller” — Chris Stapleton; “1989” — Taylor Swift; and “Beauty Behind The Madness” — The Weeknd. And in the running for Best New Artist: Courtney Barnett, James Bay, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly and Meghan Trainor. The Grammys will be handed out February 15 in LA.
