Some people get upset that Starbucks brings back Pumpkin Spice Latte too soon. Some people argue that Hallmark starts their Christmas movies way too soon. I’m all about whatever makes people happy. And if you can’t get enough of those cheesy Christmas movies AND cooking shows, then this news might get you a little excited. Food Network is releasing their first-ever scripted movie this November on Discovery+. It’s called “Candy Coated Christmas” and it’s about a woman who returns to her hometown to cash in on her mom’s old house, but then gets to know the family that’s been renting the place and ends up making other friends around town. Sounds like the typical formula. Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond makes her acting debut in “Candy Coated Christmas,” playing the owner of a bakery who befriends the lead character.

Letitia Wright is back as Shuri in next year’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” While filming on overnight shoot in Boston, a stunt somehow went wrong and Letitia suffered minor injuries. Nobody’s released any exact details, but Letitia was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her accident isn’t expected to impact the shooting schedule. “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2022. Marvel confirmed to Deadline back in January that they will not recast the role of T’Challa, which was played by the late Chadwick Boseman.

A lot of people were shocked to see that Monica Lewinsky is a producer for the upcoming series “Impeachment: American Crime Story.” The series will go behind the scenes of her affair with President Bill Clinton and the chaos that followed. In a new interview, Monica said just because she is a producer doesn’t mean she sugar-coated the way she was portrayed. For instance, the writer originally left out a scene where Monica flashed her thong to President Clinton because she didn’t want to “re-traumatize” Monica. Monica made her put it back in. As a producer, Monica needed to watch everything that was filmed, which did stir up a lot of emotions for her. She ended up hiring a therapist to watch the show with her over Zoom and help guide her through it. Monica admitted she had “a number of selfish reasons for wanting to participate” in the series, but her biggest goal was to make sure this never happens to another young person again. “Impeachment”debuts on September 7th on FX, starring Beanie Feldstein as Monica, Clive Owen as Bill Clinton, Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton, and Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp.

Kanye West is gearing up for a third — and hopefully final — listening party tonight at Soldier Field in his hometown of Chicago. And when he finally releases the “DONDA” album, for an extra $200 you can also purchase the DONDA Stem Player. According to KanyeWest.com, the DONDA Stem Player allows you to customize any song and split any song into stems. You can control vocals, drums, bass and samples, as well as isolate parts and add effects. There’s also real time loop and speed control, plus you can share mixes and customize colors. It’s blue-tooth enabled and has 8GB of storage and apparently fits in the palm of your hand. There are a ton of other features if you want to check it out on the website and pre-order.

About a minute after Olivia Rodrigo released her single “Good 4 U” everyone started comparing it to Paramore’s 2007 hit “Misery Business.” While a source told Billboard that Olivia’s people were talking to Paramore’s people before “Good 4 U” came out in May, it wasn’t until yesterday that Paramore’s Hayley Williams and former guitarist Josh Farro were added as songwriters. Hayley celebrated the news on her Instagram Story, reposting the announcement adding, “our publisher is wildin rn.” Olivia’s label also had to go back and give writing credits to Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff and St. Vincent for her song “Déjà Vu,” which was inspired by Taylor’s song “Cruel Summer.”
