Brendon Urie announced yesterday that Panic! At the Disco has broken up. The band formed in 2004 and put out their first album in 2005. It’s been pretty much a revolving door of members ever since, with the one constant being Brendon. He posted a message to their fan’s on the band’s IG page that said in part, “Well, it’s been a hell of a journey…But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin. We’ve been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some off you may have heard..Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon! The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting. I look forward to this next adventure.”

The Kid LAROI’s debut album “The First Time” will drop sometime this year. Last Thursday dropped the first single, “I Can’t Go Back to the Way It Was (Intro).” And this Friday, The Kid LAROI will debut another track on Fortnite. He posted on Instagram, “MY FORTNITE ISLAND EXPERIENCE IS LAUNCHING WITH THE NEW SINGLE “LOVE AGAIN” and some other surprises.. CHECK IT OUT THIS FRIDAY! #EpicPartner” But the first comment I saw was from an unimpressed fan who posted, “He really delayed the album drop for fortnite.” The one right below him said, “How we get a Fortnite skin before an album.” The Kid LAROI’s Fortnite experience is called “Wild Dreams.” Players will compete in a special event to gain specific The Kid LAROI items and they get to attend an in-game concert. It’ll be available for the next 3 months.

On Feb. 12 Super Bowl LVII (57) will be wrecking the Valentine’s Weekend dreams of many football widows. We already know Rihanna will be the halftime performer, but yesterday the NFL announced the rest of the Super Bowl entertainment. Babyface will sing “America the Beautiful” and then Chris Stapleton will perform the National Anthem as Troy Kotsur performs it in sign language. Troy won Best Supporting Actor last year for his role in “CODA.” Emmy award-winning Sheryl Lee Ralph will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing. And in honor of the 50th anniversary of women flying in the U.S. Navy, the flyover will include female aviators as part of the formation. On Sunday we’ll find out who’s actually playing in the Super Bowl. The Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs are fighting for the AFC Championship, while the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles compete for the NFC Championship.

Justin Bieber reportedly sold his music catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200M. This deal covers 290+ titles in Justin’s catalog that were released prior to Dec. 31, 2021. The Hipgnosis CEO said this is one of the biggest deals ever for an artist under the age of 70, and credited Scooter Braun for helping create such a magnificent catalog of music. While Hipgnosis now owns Justin’s publishing copyrights, master recordings, and neighboring rights for his back catalog, Universal Music Group will still own Justin’s recorded music masters in perpetuity.

Paris Hilton made the surprise announcement yesterday that she and husband Carter Reum welcomed a baby boy via surrogate. This is Paris’ first child, but Carter’s second. Carter reportedly has a 9-year-old daughter that he’s only met once. Her mother is former reality star Laura Bellizzi, who starred in the one and only season of VH1’s 2010 reality series “Secrets of Aspen.” Around the time she became pregnant, Laura had briefly dated Mel Gibson, so everyone assumed the child was his. Both Mel and Laura denied it. It turns out, Carter was the baby daddy. And while he reportedly has supported the child financially, Carter has no relationship with his daughter because it’s really hard to do that when you’ve only met once. A source close to the situation told Page Six that seeing her father marry Paris was really upsetting for the little girl. The source said, “She saw the articles of Paris and Carter talking about starting a family. She felt tremendous rejection and felt left out. She wants to have a relationship with him.”
