Since Will Ferrell said he turned down a sequel to “Elf” years ago, I guess they decided they won’t be needing that costume any more! The Prop Store held an auction for 1000 pieces of film memorabilia, including Buddy’s entire costume – from the red-feather tipped pointy hat down to the curly-toed black leather shoes. That sold for $297K, blowing past the projected $27K-$41K the auction house expected. Other items sold at auction included Michael J. Fox’s hoverboard from “Back to the Future 2.” That sold for $405K. Wilson — Tom Hanks’ volleyball and best friend from “Castaway” went for $388,750. Russell Crowe’s helmet from “Gladiator” sold for $243K. A couple of “Star Wars” fans picked up some props from “Return of the Jedi.” A miniature X-wing from that movie sold for $256K and a Stormtrooper helmet fetched $141K.

We look at celebrities and supermodels and think they have everything — money, fame, beauty…They MUST be happy. But Bella Hadid revealed to her Instagram followers yesterday that she has basically cried almost every day and night for the past few years. Bella shared a video of Willow Smith talking about how everyone deals with insecurities, and it really struck a chord with Bella. She said Willow’s video made her feel a little less alone, which is why she decided to share her feelings of insecurity. Bella reminded her followers, “Social media is not real. For anyone struggling, please remember that. Sometimes all you’ve gotta hear is that you’re not alone. So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you.” Her post went on for a bit from there, talking about her “breakdowns and burnouts,” saying, “Self help and mental illness/chemical imbalance is not linear and it is almost like a flowing rollercoaster of obstacles…But I want you to know, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point.” Bella then shared several pictures of her face swollen from crying, with the last one showing her with an IV in her arm.

As of now, the death toll from Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival Friday night stands at eight. Sadly, that number could be about to change. Bharti Shahani is a 22-year-old student from Texas A&M. She went to Travis’ concert with her sister and cousin and they all got separated in the crush of the crowd. Her sister said, “Once we let go of her hand, the next time we saw her, we were in the ER.” Bharti has been in critical condition and on a ventilator since Friday night, and doctors have now told the family that she is brain dead. Her parents are still processing the news as they try to determine what to do next. Meantime, sources say that after the concert Friday, Travis went to an after-party at Dave and Busters thrown by his surprise guest Drake. Travis still maintains he didn’t know what had happened in the crowd that night and left the party when he found out.
Meanwhile, a nine-year-old boy has been put into a medically induced coma following injuries sustained at the festival, and a 22-year-old student is fighting for her life on a ventilator. https://t.co/cDqxTQM0VZ— Independent US (@IndyUSA) November 10, 2021
People were putting their bets on Chris Evans, but surprise! Paul Rudd has been named “People” magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2021! And yes, Paul is well aware that this will come as a shock to many, but he’s hoping this honor will get him invited to “those sexy dinners” with previous Sexiest Man Alive winners like George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Michael B. Jordan. But one woman who definitely believes “People” got it right is Paul’s wife of 18 years, Julie.
