Movie news… Drew Barrymore’s stalker arrested… Kroy Biermann files again… Jason Derulo rushed to hospital… and Pete Davidson & Chase Sui Wonders have split

In movie news, this week “Barbie” officially passed “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” as this year’s highest grossing movie in the US. Here at home, “Barbie” has earned $575.4M and worldwide it’s passed $1.3B. Those who know about these things predict it will ultimately earn $1.6B. With that in mind, there has been renewed interest in making a Monopoly movie. The last time we heard anything about it was pre-Covid and Kevin Hart was reportedly in talks to star in it. We don’t know if that’s still the case. But Lionsgate owns the rights to making a movie based on the real estate board game, which has been around since the 1930s. In other movie news, Jamie Foxx will play God and Mickey Rourke will play the Devil in the upcoming comedy “Not Another Church Movie.” It was shot before Jamie’s health crisis back in April and should hit theaters before the end of the year. And another movie we have to look forward to is a horror comedy called “Werewolf Santa,” which is literally that. Santa turns into a werewolf on Christmas Eve and terrorizes a small seaside town. It should come out sometime in November.

On Monday, Drew Barrymore was onstage in New York interviewing Renee Rapp when a man started shouting and walking toward the stage. He identified himself as Chad Michael Busto, telling Drew, “You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while I’m in New York.” Renee ushered Drew off the stage while security ushered Mr. Busto from the building, but nobody called the police to report the incident. However, Chad REALLY meant it when he said he needed to see Drew. On Wednesday, somebody called 911 to report this suspicious guy on a bicycle, riding up to homes in Southampton asking where Drew lives. Officers picked him up for questioning, but let him go. But then officers learned about what happened on Monday and they tracked Chad down and arrested him on stalking charges.

Bravolebrities Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann both filed for divorce in May. He accused her of being a gambling addict who hit him in the head when he tried to sell some of her designer purses to pay off some debt, and she accused him of being an emotionally and mentally abusive pot head. It got real ugly. But then all of a sudden they called off the divorce, leading several people — including myself — to believe this was all a publicity stunt to drum up interest in getting them another reality show. However, six weeks after their reconciliation, Kroy has filed for divorce again, stating their marriage is “irretrievably broken.” He’s seeking sole legal and physical custody of their four minor children, 12-year-old Kroy Jr., 11-year-old Kash, and 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Kroy also wants child support, alimony and he wants to keep the house that keeps getting threatened with foreclosure, apparently because Kim is gambling away all their money.

Jason Derulo was so excited to get his new Oura fitness tracking ring. He put it on and went to bed, possibly to track his sleep patterns. But the next morning , he woke up and his ring finger was super swollen and turning purple! On his Instagram, Jason posted a video showing how he’d tried taking it off with oil and then tried icing it. He said the swelling went down a little bit but he still couldn’t get the ring off. But after going to the gym for a workout, his finger started swelling again, and that’s when he called paramedics. When they couldn’t get it off, the decision was made to go to the hospital and cut it off. Jason was told it would only take a couple minutes, but it ended up taking over an hour.

They almost made it a year! But Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders are done. A source told People that Pete is doing really well, though, which is good news. Back in June, Pete voluntarily checked himself into a mental health treatment facility because he was struggling a bit. Three months before, he and Chase were involved in a car crash in Beverly Hills where he hit a fire hydrant and a house – I believe. He was charged with one count of misdemeanor reckless driving and in July went into an 18-month diversion program where he has to complete 50 hours of community service and sit through 12 hours of traffic school. He also has to visit a morgue or hospital so he can see for himself the dangers of reckless driving…But through ALL of this, sources said Chase was sticking with Pete and her family was also very supportive of him getting treatment for his mental health. But now that relationship has run its course.
