Lots of casting news… R Kelly’s new documentary… “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3”… “The Four” is returning… and Prince Harry & ex-girlfriend had one final phone call

Lots of casting news! Idris Elba will star in a new adaptation of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” for Netflix. He’s also directing the movie and producing new, original music for this. It is NOT a remake of the Disney version from 1996. It will be more of a “modern” re-telling. No premiere date has been set. Gal Gadot is going to produce and possibly star in a movie based on an article called, “My Dearest Fidel: An ABC Journalist’s Secret Liaison With Fidel Castro.” And who would you cast to play Megyn Kelly in a movie about disgraced Fox News chairman Roger Ailes? Save your brain cells thinking about it because Charlize Theron has already been cast. She’s also co-producing the movie so of course she wanted one of the juicier roles. So now it’s going to be fun figuring out who they’ll cast to play Roger and other big players at Fox, like Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren and Gretchen Carlson, who reportedly received $20 million from Fox because of her sexual harassment claims against Roger Ailes.

BuzzFeed News is developing a new documentary for Hulu based on R Kelly’s alleged sexual abuse of women and girls. The documentary will feature commentary by music critic and radio host named Jim DeRogatis, who broke the story on R Kelly’s alleged sex cult for BuzzFeed last year. The documentary will also feature interviews from key people in R Kelly’s past, as well as women who say they survived his abuse. Earlier this month, Lifetime announced they’re also doing a documentary series as well as a movie based on the allegations against R Kelly.

They already did the sequel to “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” but should they really go for a three-quel? Alexis Biedel, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn are all ready to put on those britches again, but Blake Lively reportedly isn’t so sure this is the right career move for her. RadarOnline.com says Amber and Alexis are shopping a great script, but studio executives want to make sure Blake is involved before they decide to do it. A source says it all hinges on Blake, who hasn’t said no YET.

You may have seen the commercials already, but “The Four” is returning to Fox. Fergie is back as host, along with Diddy, DJ Khaled and Meghan Trainor in the judges seats. But they’re not bothering to replace Charlie Walk, who left the show after five women accused him of sexual harassment. But “The Four” was never about four judges. It’s about the four contestants who are chosen from their auditions and then try to defend their spots on the stage as they’re challenged by new contestants every week. “The Four” returns on Thursday, June 7.

According to Vanity Fair, Prince Harry had one final phone call with his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy right after she received her invitation to his wedding. Harry and Chelsy dated from 2003-2010 and remained close. But a source said he wanted to let her know that while she was invited to the wedding, she wouldn’t be invited to the evening reception for 200 of their closest friends and family. Chelsy reportedly was in tears during the conversation, but she promised not to crash the party. A family friend told Vanity Fair, “It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on.”
