New seasons on Netflix… Bravo TV updates… The Golden Globes tonight… Kim Kardashian’s team ‘staged being flour-bombed by protesters’… and Prince Harry ‘written out’ of coronation
Listen to “Showbiz – Jan 10, 2023” on Spreaker.
In Netflix news — Season 4 of “You” hits Netflix on Feb. 9, but the trailer is out now. This season Joe has relocated to London where he’s posing as Professor Jonathan Moore and he’s trying to prove to his latest love, Marienne, that he is not a murderer. But in Season 4, the tables turn and now Joe is the one who’s being stalked by a serial killer known as the “Eat the Rich Killer.” Also, “Bridgerton” fans are still waiting I don’t know if “Bridgerton” fans were as passionate about Season 2 as they were Season 1, but Netflix renewed the series for at least Seasons 3 and 4. But when will we get Season 3? Netflix says sometime this year, but we don’t know when. Why the delay? A source told the Daily Mail that producer Shonda Rhimes wasn’t happy with the script, saying it was heading in a direction that was a little too dark — especially in the love-making scenes. She allegedly told them to go back and write in some more fun stuff, too. Netflix denies that, but who you gonna believe?? Season 3 will follow the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Lady Whistledown herself, Penelope Featherington.
Heartbreak is always a catalyst for a new path.

In 2021, the Hollywood Foreign Press was caught up in a huge controversy over its lack of diversity and questionable practices. Tom Cruise even returned his 3 Golden Globes and encouraged his fellow celebrities to boycott the awards ceremony. After taking a year off and making some positive changes, the Golden Globes return to NBC tonight, hosted by Jerrod Carmichael. A ton of nominated celebrities are listed as “Maybes” for the ceremony. Most of them are going to use the “I’m too busy filming to attend” excuse. Tom Cruise hasn’t said whether he’s coming or not, but his is nominated as a producer for “Top Gun: Maverick.” However, Brendan Fraser is most definitely boycotting. He accused the HFPA’s former president of groping him at a 2003 luncheon. The man denied it and no action was taken. Brendan is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama for “The Whale.”

In a new documentary called “The Kardashians: Billion Dollar Dynasty” a former media strategist claims that back in 2012, Kim’s team was behind her red carpet flour-bombing incident! Kim was at an event in West Hollywood promoting her True Reflection fragrance line when a woman appeared out of nowhere and pelted her with flour, covering her head-to-toe in white powder. Kim cleaned herself up and then made jokes about it to breathless reporters, telling them, “That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me! Like, I said to my makeup artist I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there!” But Sheeraz Hasan claims this was all orchestrated by him and Kim’s team. After discussing how the whole scene would go down, Sheeraz claims Kim was told, “Okay, this is what’s going to happen, you’re going to be fine, you’re going to be safe, but we’re going to create a media moment. If we create media gold, guess what’s going to happen? Everyone’s going to be talking about your perfume, everyone’s going to buy it.” He claims Kim asked him if her team knew the plan and he assured her they were in on it.

Prince Harry filmed his appearance for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” yesterday. If you watch tonight, you’ll see Harry downing tequila shots and making jokes about the drama going on with his family as he promotes his memoir “Spare” which is out today. Yesterday, sources were saying that King Charles would extend an olive branch and invite Harry and Meghan to his coronation on May 6, but said Harry wouldn’t have a role in the ceremony. However, that was before the book’s release. The guest list for the big day is still being finalized, but even if Harry and Megan do make the cut, sources say they’ll make an excuse not to attend.
