Remy Ma’s Nicki Minaj Diss Track

Lowest rated Oscars… DWTS update… Danielle “Cash Me Ousside” may get a reality show… Bob Harper suffered a heart attack… and Remy Ma’s Nicki Minaj diss track

We’re still talking about the Oscars two days later, but the show itself actually had some of the lowest number of viewers ever. With an average of 32.9 million viewers, it was the second lowest rated Oscars broadcast in history. The record for the lowest viewers is held by Jon Stewart, who only had 32 million tune in when he hosted in 2008.

People magazine has revealed a few more celebrities who will be dancing on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. Bachelor Nick Viall, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei, Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Erika Girardi, former SNL member Chris Kattan, former Glee star Heather Morris, professional bull rider/model Bonner Bolton, and Charo! They join previously announced contestants Mr. T and Simon Biles. ABC won’t comment because they’re still planning on “surprising” us with the entire cast tomorrow on Good Morning America. DWTS is back on March 20.

Here’s the plan — Let’s go embarrass ourselves and our mothers on Dr. Phil and then go get rich! Danielle “Cash Me Ousside” Bregoli is meeting with reality show producers in Hollywood tomorrow to talk about a her own potential show. Her managers — yes, Danielle now has managers — told TMZ that they’ve been contacted by SEVEN production companies, and four of them are about potential reality shows. The other three are interested in talking to Danielle about a scripted TV series. And no, it wouldn’t be about her guest-starring on some TV shows….these shows would star HER. TMZ is also reporting that strip club owners have no morals whatsoever and they’ve reached out to Danielle’s managers to have her do appearances.

Bob Harper’s entire career is based on health and fitness. But he says family genetics are to blame for a heart attack he suffered two weeks ago. Bob was working out at a gym in NYC when he collapsed. Lucky for him, a doctor was working out nearby and performed CPR before paramedics arrived to rush him to to the hospital. Bob was unconscious for two days, but after an 8-day stay, he was finally released and is now home recovering. Bob took over hosting duties on The Biggest Loser when Alison Sweeney stepped down a couple years ago. NBC has not announced when or if the show is coming back.

So Remy Ma has a problem with Nicki Minaj and she got it all out of her system with her new song “Shether.” She basically disses Nicki the entire time. No comment from Nicki yet, but reportedly her good buddy Drake is VERY upset about it. A source told HollywoodLife.com that he can’t believe Remy went so hard on Nicki, and after he called Nicki to make sure she was okay, he encouraged her to come back at Remy “hard and fast and with a vengeance.” Even Nicki’s ex-fiance Safaree Samuels says Remy’s lyrics are some of the most disrespectful he’s ever heard. But he has no interest in helping her with any comeback rap. Why do these ladies despise each other? I turned to Rolling Stone to explain this to me. Apparently, Nicki started the whole thing back in 2007 when she took jabs at another female rapper in her freestyle “Dirty Money.” She didn’t ever say it was about Remy Ma, but everybody including Remy thought it was about her. So Remy confronted Nicki at an album release party and it wasn’t pretty. But then in 2008, Remy was sentenced to 8 years in prison after she apparently shot some girlfriend a couple times during an argument. She ended up getting out after only serving 6, but during that time, Nicki’s career took off. When Remy got out, it seemed like she let bygones be bygones and even congratulated Nicki on winning BET’s Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Award for 2016. But now that she’s trying to restart her own rap career, Remy has been taking jabs at Nicki here and there, free-styling over Nicki’s “Truffle Butter” beat and imitating her “Monster” verse…And now she’s finally issued the ultimate, blatant diss with “Shether.”
