Rihanna to Perform at 2023 Halftime Show

Weekend box office news… Big Brother SPOILER… Post Malone is hospitalized… Tom Brady & Gisele Bündchen have been living in separate homes… and Rihanna to perform at 2023 Halftime Show

“Don’t Worry Darling” debuted in first place with $19.2M. Only 38% on RottenTomatoes.com, but Harry Styles’ fans don’t give a rip what critics say. They were going to see this movie opening weekend no matter what. But the audiences who did see it gave it a B- on the Cinemascore rankings. Last week’s number one movie “The Woman King” dropped to second place with $11.1M. RottenTomatoes critics love this one, giving it 94% positive reviews. Third place was the re-release of the 2009 movie “Avatar” with $10M, followed by the low-budget Airbnb horror movie “Barbarian” with $4.8M. “Pearl” was fifth with $1.92M.

History was made last night on “Big Brother.” It took 24 seasons, but for the first time in the show’s history Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the whole dang thing. Monte Taylor — who won the final Head of Household and chose to take Taylor with him to the final voting — settled for second. From what I am reading online, Taylor gave the best speech in “Big Brother” history, telling the jury, “I have overcome so much in this game and I have come to understand that I am not a shield. I am a sword. I am not a victim. I am a victor. If there is one word that is going to describe the entire season, it is resiliency. If you were to ask yourself who the most resilient person of this season has been, it is me. We can have the same “Big Brother” wins that we’ve had in the past, but I am challenging you jury members. I’m challenging all of you to decide what type of winner you want to have this year? Do we want the same thing, where we see evictions and comp wins be the path to success? Or do we want a winner where we choose resiliency, we choose persistence as a reason to win this game. I have never given up on myself and I refuse to do it tonight when I’m sitting next to such a strong competitor. Jury members, I am challenging you to make the hard decision and change the course of the game and choose progress for the course of this game. I can be with the winner of this season, and I promise you will not do it in vain if you choose me tonight.” By a vote 0f 8-1, Taylor won, taking home $750K. She also won “America’s Favorite Houseguest,” which gave her another $50K.

At last week’s show in St. Louis, Post Malone fell through an open trap door on the stage and broke 3 ribs. He was trying to plow through and continue the tour, but the pain got to be too much for him. Post was forced to cancel his show in Boston last night, explaining on social media, “Boston, I love y’all so (BLANKING) much. On tour, I usually wake up around 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke up to a cracking sounds on the right side of my body. I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before. I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breath or move. We’re in the hospital now, but with this pain, I can’t do the show tonight. I’m so (BLANKING) sorry. Everyone’s tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for the reschedule that we’re planning right now. Once again, I’m so (BLANKING) sorry, I love y’all so much. I feel terrible, but I promise I’m going to make this up to you. I love you Boston, I’ll see you soon.I’m so sorry. – Love, Austy.”

It was Tom Brady’s first home game of the season. His three kids were there. His wife Gisele Bundchen was not. Sources told the Daily Mail that Tom and Gisele have been living in separate homes for the past month. Obviously, their marriage is in trouble, but sources told the Daily Mail that it has nothing to do with football. Everyone assumes Gisele was ticked off when Tom unretired from the NFL, but one source said she wouldn’t care if he played until his 50s. The source said the friction in their marriage was happening before he retired and unretired, which is why they’re now living apart.

She said no to 2020 but yes to 2023. Rihanna will be the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer on Feb. 12 in Glendale, Arizona. She confirmed the news by posting a photo of her tattooed hand holding up a football — no caption. It’s the first thing she’s posted since giving birth to her baby boy with A$AP Rocky back in May. It was rumored that Taylor Swift was going to be the Halftime performer and TMZ says she was, in fact, asked several months ago. While Taylor would love to do it, sources told TMZ she wants to wait until after she re-records all six of her early albums. So far, she’s only recorded two.
