Bachelorette JoJo is SUPER excited that her fiancé Jordan Rodgers got a job with the SEC Network, which started yesterday. She even posted a picture on Instagram, captioning it, “Not only is he the most loving, kindhearted and selfless man.. But also unbelievably hardworking and driven. Congrats on your first week w/ the SEC Network bubbi! You deserve it.” So Jordan was hired by ESPN to be a college football analyst for the SEC Network’s show, SEC Now. And this means, of course, that Jordan is one step closer to covering NFL games which means JoJo is one step closer to meeting Aaron Rodgers.
Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman was shooting a video for Yahoo Sports about what she looks for in a boyfriend when they played her a video sent by Oakland Raiders tight end Colton Underwood. Colton congratulated Aly on her Olympic medals and then said, “If you’re ever in San Jose and want to go on a double date with me and Andrew and Shawn, let me know.” The “Andrew and Shawn” he’s referring to are Colton’s teammate Andrew East and his new bride, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson. Aly says Shawn has mentioned Colton to her before and she thinks he’s very cute. And yes! She WILL go out with him! Later, Aly tweeted him, “@Colt3FIVE thanks for the sweet video….looking forward to meeting you :)” And he tweeted back, “Anytime! Looking forward to meeting you too. Safe travels back, see you soon!”
Ariana Grande dumped her backup dancer boyfriend Ricky Alvarez a month or so ago and now she’s dating this rapper named Mac Miller. Somebody snapped pictures of them nibbling on sushi and each other at this restaurant in Encino Sunday night. Mac has been downplaying the relationship, referring to Ariana as his “homey.” These two go back a little bit. Before she started dating Big Sean, Mac Miller played her boyfriend in her music video for “The Way.”
Britney Spears is from Kentwood, Louisiana, and she’s obviously upset by all the news she’s seen of the recent flooding. What did Ryan Lochte’s lie cost him? ESPN estimates he’ll lose about a million bucks. I don’t know how many sponsors Ryan had going into the Olympics, but I know how many he’s lost since! Speedo USA, Ralph Lauren, Airweave mattresses and Syneron Candela — which had Ryan promoting Gentle’s Laser Hair Removal system — have all dropped him. In fact, Speedo — which has had a deal with Ryan since 2006 — released a statement saying they’ll donate the last $50K they owe him on his current contract to Save the Children. Ryan is now working with a crisis manager to repair his public image. But some people are actually ticked off that Ryan is being dropped so quickly. Many were tweeting that they were boycotting Speedo, one saying, “I’m not a Lochte fan and I don’t 100% believe either side but this absolutely bugs the hell out of me.” Another tweeted, “@SpeedoUSA I’m not Lochte fan. You are too ‘Butt Hurt’ over this. Get over yourself. I’m not buying Speedos anymore. You have no loyalty.” And yet another, “Not condoning what #Lochte did but I wish corporations & lobbyist cut ties with politicians as quickly as they cut ties w/athletes.”
