The CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery is looking to bank on their most valuable properties after their massive $43B merger. David Zaslav told investors yesterday, “We’re going to focus on franchises. We haven’t had a Superman movie in 13 years. We haven’t done a Harry Potter in 15 years. The DC movies and Harry Potter movies provided a lot of the profits for Warner Bros over the past 25 years.” Then, he said he’d like to do nothing more than “…something with J.K. on Harry Potter going forward.” Warner Bros. released eight “Harry Potter” films from 2001-2011 that grossed $7.7B globally, but the three “Fantastic Beast” movies haven’t done too well. In fact, they may be done making the remaining two movies.

Rihanna’s “Savage x Fenty Vol. 4” runway show premieres on Amazon Prime Video Wednesday, Nov. 9. “Vogue” describes it Among those modeling the sexy underwear and catsuits and boxer shorts are Cara Delevingne, Irina Shayk, Tarji P. Henson, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. And TMZ was the first to report yesterday that Johnny Depp will be appearing in Rihanna’s show. Britney Spears hopped on Twitter yesterday to apologize again to “Zoey 101” star Alexa Nikolas for yelling at her 15 years ago. Alexa was a guest on former Disney star Christy Carlson’s podcast “Vulnerable” this week and told the story. She said the show’s talent coordinator told Alexa’s mom that she was needed in the hair and makeup trailer. Instead, she was met by Britney and her dad Jamie. Alexa claims that Jamie ran to the back of the trailer while Britney yelled at her. She said, “It wasn’t okay because I was a 12/13-year-old, but in retrospect, knowing the dynamic that was at place for her (the conservatorship), of course that’s what ended up happening.” Alexa said Britney apologized to her a long time ago for what happened, but Nickelodeon never did. Britney heard about the podcast and tweeted, “It broke my heart to see your interview about your experience in the business. I know it’s 15 years later what you are sharing but trust me … I know it still matters. Although I have apologized to you personally just by ‘instinct’ my heart at the time didn’t know how incredibly good my family was with the ACTING LANGUAGE !!!” Britney explained that she had been told that her baby sister Jamie Lynn was being bullied on the set. But Britney says now, “I apologize for my ignorance for yelling at you when I obviously had no idea what was really going on !!!” She also told Alexa to tell Nickelodeon to kiss her a**. After seeing Britney’s public apology, Alexa posted on Instagram, “@britneyspears I’m sitting here crying with my jaw on the floor. Thank you for seeing me and listening to me. Thank you for apologizing. As you know I forgive you. You have always been my biggest inspiration and strength since I was 6 years old. You have healed so many childhood wounds for me as an adult. Your voice is POWERFUL. Beyond. I hope you always know that. This is honestly one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me….. I can’t wait to show my daughter Nova what an inspiration you are now and forever. Love you. You deserve the best. that’s all for now. Thank you. Oh and @nickelodeon can kiss my a**.”

Thousands of Twitter employees are getting a pink slip today. Elon Musk reportedly plans to cut Twitter’s workforce in half, which would be roughly 3700 employees. According to Bloomberg, they’re all getting 60 days severance pay. But yesterday, Twitter employees filed a class-action lawsuit, saying the company is violating federal law that requires 60 days notice for employees who are getting laid off. Does the 60 days severance pay cover that? Unclear. However, TMZ has discovered something pretty interesting. Diddy is one of the investors who helped Elon buy Twitter! Their sources say Diddy put in more than $10M. Other investors reportedly include a Saudi Arabian prince and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey.

Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me” is now streaming on Apple TV+. Selena hired the director of her “Hands to Myself” music video to follow her on tour for her second studio album, “Revival.” But after 55 shows, Selena pulled the plug on the tour because she was struggling with depression and anxiety after her lupus symptoms flared for the first time in years. That’s when the documentary about Selena’s tour shifted to a documentary about her mental health and eventual diagnosis of bipolar disorder. In an interview with “Rolling Stone,” Selena revealed that her bipolar medications may prevent her from carrying a child. But she said, “However I’m meant to have them, I will.” She also told the magazine that she always thought she’d be married by now, which is why she threw herself a wedding for her 30th birthday back in July.
