If Mandy Moore was planning on keeping her business a secret, she should’ve let her co-workers know about it! But Entertainment Tonight was at the “This Is Us” soundtrack release party last night when Chris Sullivan — who plays Toby — let it slip that Mandy got a ring from her musician boyfriend — now FIANCE — Taylor Goldsmith. He said that Mandy told all her co-stars right away in a group chat and she showed off a picture of the ring there, but he hasn’t seen her yet to get the whole story. And then Mandy’s on-screen husband, Jon Huertas, confirmed it’s true and said the best advice he could give the happy couple is to always communicate. He said, “If there are troubles, if there are problems, just talk to each other. Communicate. You fell in love for a reason — you can always find that again.”
Not getting a ring is Heidi Klum. After more than 3 and a half years of dating, Heidi and her art dealing boy toy Vito Schnabel are taking a breather. A source told People that things have been difficult recently, especially since they live on opposite coasts. And with the start of the school year, Heidi has to concentrate on her kids. Meantime, Heidi needed a date for a New York Fashion Week event over the weekend and she showed up with that race car driver Louis Hamilton, who was most recently linked to Sofia Richie.
Congratulations to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo! She went on Instagram yesterday to post a picture of her swollen belly, captioning it, “ROUND 2.” Yes, she and Adam are expecting their second baby. Their daughter Dusty Rose turns one on September 21st. A source says Adam has already adjusted his schedule for next year to allow him some time off for the new baby.
It’s getting down to the wire for “American Idol” and this judge situation. So far, Katy Perry is still the only one on board. But because she’s getting a well-publicized $25 million to do it, producers can’t afford to pay much more for the other judges. They really want Luke Bryan in the second spot, but he’s not loving the offer of Disney perks over cash. He wants more money! And we have no idea who’s in the running for the number three spot. But there’s another problem looming. If they can’t fill the judges panel, they have to postpone filming. And if they postpone filming, that cuts into Katy’s touring schedule.
Selena Gomez shocked us all yesterday when she revealed on her Instagram that she had a kidney transplant over the summer! She’s been battling lupus for years — a disease that attacks your organs. After none of her family was a match, it turns out her best friend was! Selena posted a picture of the two of them holding hands in their hospital beds before the procedure. She captioned it, “…There aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis.”
