The family of Jeffrey Dahmer victim Errol Lindsay says Ryan Murphy’s “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” has re-traumatized them. In an essay for Insider, Errol’s sister Rita Isbell wrote, “I was never contacted about the show. I feel like Netflix should’ve asked if we mind or how we felt about making it. They didn’t ask me anything. They just did it.” And Errol’s cousin Eric Perry tweeted, “I’m not telling anyone what to watch, I know true crime media is huge, but if you’re actually curious about the victims, my family are pissed about this show. It’s retraumatizing over and over again, and for what? How many movies/shows/documentaries do we need?” In another tweet he said that because Jeffrey Dahmer’s story is public record, they don’t have to notify or pay anyone who was victimized. Evan Peters is just the latest actor to take on this horrific role. Jeremy Renner played him in 2002. Ross Lynch played him in 2017. There have also been too many documentaries and docuseries to list.

Aaron Carter was recently on IG Live and fans who were logged on suspected he was huffing and getting really high. He must have been huffing a lot because some of them called 911 and asked police to do a welfare check. When officers arrived, they banged on the door until Aaron finally opened it. He said he’d been sleeping. The police report stated that there were no drugs found inside Aaron’s home. As far as huffing online, Aaron told them, “I’m tired of people coming after me so I trolled everybody.”

Not only is Harry Styles starring in this week’s No. 1 movie “Don’t Worry Darling,” his song “As It Was” is No. 1 on the Billboard Hott 100 for a 15th week. Only three songs have held that spot longer. “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus was No. 1 for 19 weeks. “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee ft. Justin Bieber and “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men were both No. 1 for 16 weeks.

Lots of celebrity relationship news! A source told “People” that Brad Pitt and the newly single Emily Ratajkowski are hanging out, but friends aren’t sure if it’s serious. Earlier this month, Emily filed for divorce from producer Sebastian Bear-McClard after four years of marriage. Khloe Kardashian and “365 Days” actor Michele Morrone were photographed together in Milan for Fashion Week, so OF COURSE that means they’re dating. But Michele’s rep said they both happened to be at the Dolce and Gabbana show and were asked to take a photo. His rep told “People,” “Michele said she was very nice, and that was the extent of it.” They’d never even met before that night. And former Bachelor Peter the Pilot Weber is back with attorney Kelley Flanagan, who was Peter’s mom’s favorite. They were supposed to move in together in NYC in early 2021, but broke up instead. Now after well over a year apart, Peter and Kelley are back on.

A judge in Spain has decided that Shakira will stand trial on charges of tax fraud. Prosecutors say she owes just shy of $14M in taxes that she earned between 2012 and 2014, and they think she needs to pay a huge fine and go to prison for 8 years. But Shakira’s PR firm says Shakira has not only paid all that she owed PLUS another $2.8M in interest. Shakira also rejected a plea deal to avoid a trial because she would’ve had to admit guilt. Her PR firm said, “She believes in her innocence and has opted to leave the issue in the hands of the law.” No trial date has been set, but it’s expected to happen in the next few months.
