Tom Brokaw says despite his cancer diagnosis, he’s still “the luckiest guy I know.” NBC News says he was diagnosed in August, but Tom is just now announcing that he’s battling multiple myeloma, which is a cancer of the plasma cells in bone marrow. Tom released a statement saying, “With the exceptional support of my family, medical team and friends, I am very optimistic about the future and look forward to continuing my life, my work and adventures still to come.”

Michael Jordan has three grown children with his ex-wife, but when he decided to marry a sweet young thing, he pretty much signed a contract to make more babies. And that’s exactly what he did. Michael married former model, Yvette Prieto, last April. They announced she was pregnant in November, but never said anything about twins. And on Sunday, at the age of 50, Michael became the proud daddy of newborn twin girls, Victoria and Ysabel.

Jay Leno gave his final show last week and Jimmy Fallon is gearing up for his debut as host of the Tonight Show on Monday. He’s revealed his first week’s worth of guests, and it’s looking really good. On Monday, Jimmy welcomes Will Smith with musical guest U2. On Tuesday, it’s Jerry Seinfeld, Kristen Wiig and musical guest Lady Gaga. Wednesday Jimmy has Bradley Cooper and Tim McGraw. On Thursday, check out FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Will Ferrell, and Arcade Fire. And then, wrapping up his first week of shows, Jimmy welcomes Justin Timberlake on Friday.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes haven’t been photographed together since October so rumors are flying everywhere that the two of them have broken up. Eva taped an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show yesterday and of course Ellen had to ask about her Valentine’s Day plans. Eva said, “I’m not a big Valentine’s Day person…I’ll probably just order a deep dish and watch ‘The Notebook’ or something. Just cry….weep.” So was that her way of letting us know it’s over between the two of them??? Ellen also asked her about the rumor that she was pregnant, but Eva said that’s not true. She said, “It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport. They basically see you naked, right. And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down.”

Shia LaBeouf has set up an art exhibit in LA called #IAMSORRY. TMZ sent one of their camera guys to check it out. Basically, you walk into a gallery and there’s a table filled with items that represent some part of Shia’s life….or not. You choose an item from the table and then go behind a curtain to find Shian sitting there with that same paper bag on his head that he wore in Berlin. Your goal, apparently, is to get him to react. The TMZ guy got him to take off the bag and said it looked like he’d been crying. He said something that made Shia smile, but he never could get him to talk.
