Showbiz Top 5: Shia LaBeouf stirred things up in Berlin

“The Lego Movie” did great at the box office… Miley Cyrus’ sister is a correspondent… Philip Seymour Hoffman’s funeral… Rihanna and Drake is on again… and Shia LaBeouf stirred things up in Berlin

The Lego Movie” did even better than the movie company expected, debuting with $69.1 million at the box office on its opening weekend. In fact, a sequel is already in the works! George Clooney’s “The Monuments Men” opened in second with $22.7 million. The movie is based on a true story about a mission to retrieve artwork stolen by the Nazis in World War II. It hasn’t gotten the greatest reviews. And after staying at number one for three weeks, “Ride Along” slipped down to third place with $9.4 million.

Miley Cyrus‘ sister Brandi is a correspondent for Fuse News, so she got to interview her before Miley kicks off her Bangerz Tour this Friday night in Vancouver. And Miley told her sister, “Even though parents probably won’t think this, I think my show is educational for kids. They’re going to be exposed to art most people don’t know about. People are taught to look at things so black and white, especially in small towns. I’m excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn’t be accepted, where kids wouldn’t learn about this different kind of art.” Art? ART????? Well, a source told “The Mirror” that we shouldn’t expect a twerk-fest from Miley during this tour. The source said Miley doesn’t regret being the poster girl for twerking, but she doesn’t want it to define her concerts.

Several big names in Hollywood attending the wake and funeral for Philip Seymour Hoffman in NY last week. Justin Theroux was especially close to Philip, and he took the news of his passing really hard. You would think that his fiancee of 18 months would want to be there with him to support him through such an emotional time, but Jennifer Aniston was noticeably absent. In fact, RadarOnline noted that the couple hasn’t been photographed together in over a month. The last time they were spotted together was in late December when the couple took a vacation to Cabo San Lucas. There seemed to be tension between them at the time and photographers even caught shots of Jennifer angrily gesturing at Justin. They haven’t been seen together since.

It looks like whatever is going on between Rihanna and Drake is on again. The two of them were seen leaving Hooray Henry’s in West Hollywood Friday night. They actually left seconds apart from each other, but got into the same car so they fooled no one. One source told HollywoodLife.com, “They’re doing what they do on the low, and they like to keep it that way. They fill each other’s needs when they can, and that’s how they’re choosing to roll.”

Shia LaBeouf stirred things up in Berlin this weekend. At a press conference for his new movie “Nymphomaniac,” Shia showed up looking disheveled and he was missing a bottom tooth. About ten minutes into the press conference, he responded to a reporter’s question with, “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.” And with that, he got up and left the room. It turns out that he stole that quote from a French soccer player who confused reporters with that quote after he was suspended for delivering a flying kick to a heckler. About an hour after leaving the press conference, Shia showed up for the movie’s red carpet premiere wearing a tux and a bag over his head with “I am not famous anymore” written on the front.
