Jimmy Fallon’s surprise speech… Mariah Carey has poor ticket sales… Janet Jackson called police… Demi Lovato’s prank… and Sofia Richie has dumped Scott Disick

Jimmy Fallon was the surprise commencement speaker for the almost 800 graduating students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas on Saturday. Back in February, seventeen people were killed during a mass shooting at their school. Four families received diplomas on behalf of students whose lives were taken in that tragedy. Jimmy told the graduates, “You are not just the future — you are the present. Keep changing the world. Keep making us proud.”

Page Six is reporting that ticket sales for Mariah Carey’s “Butterfly Returns” shows at Caesars Palace in Vegas aren’t going so well. In fact, one insider said, “It’s a disaster.” Mariah fired her manager Stella Bulochnikov back in November, and apparently her plan was to book Mariah at a smaller venue in Vegas so they could keep announcing sold-out shows. But without Stella running things, Mariah and her yes people booked her at the Colosseum at Caesars, which holds 4300 people, and sales are reportedly sluggish. In fact, seats are still available for opening night on July 5th, and that’s not a good sign. But Mariah’s publicist told Page Six, “These allegations are false and come from a source that must be desperate to pretend to be in the know…Look forward to seeing you at the Vegas show — if you can get a seat!”

Janet Jackson called police on Saturday, asking them to do a welfare check on her one-year-old son, who was in her estranged husband’s custody at the Nobu Hotel time. Janet’s brother Randy told Entertainment Tonight that his sister got a call from the nanny who was helping Wissam Al Mana watch their son, Eissa. Randy claims the nanny was so concerned about Wissam’s aggressive behavior that she locked herself in a bathroom and called Janet. Authorities went to the hotel, determined the child was okay and left.

Demi Lovato decided it would be fun to do a little Q&A with her fans on Twitter and one of them asked her what was the funniest prank she’d ever pulled and she said it was one she did to her bodyguard, Max. Demi tweeted, “I hired a lady of the night in Vegas and sent her to Max’s hotel room to surprise him. She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his ‘area’ and he freaked the (BLANK) out hahahahaha.” Whoa. A lot of people had a problem with Demi making light of what they considered to be sexual assault, to which she responded, “I swear I could tweet something about craving jelly beans and it would offend someone.” “THAT didn’t go over any better. So then she decided to defend herself. “For all of those coming at me rn, listen to the lyrics of Warrior and maybe you’ll have more compassion for someone who made a simple mistake. Of all people I know about sexual abuse. You don’t have to educate me.” Demi did have her defenders, including her bodyguard Max, who told us all to lighten up. But Demi finally realized that it’s probably best to just apologize, so she tweeted, “So sorry if anyone was offended 😔”

After about a year of dating, Sofia Richie has dumped Scott Disick. A source told Us Weekly that Scott had cheated on Sofia in Miami and when she found out about it, she told her daddy. Their source says Lionel told his daughter that Scott is toxic for her and that if she didn’t end things with him he was going to cut her out of the will! But Sofia was still holding on to that last shred of hope, until she saw pictures of Scott hanging on some mystery blonde at Kanye’s album listening party in Wyoming. That was the final straw.
