Oscar de la Renta passed away… DWTS update… James Franco laughs as he confronts a photographer… “Breaking Bad” dolls for sale… and Someone slipped past security to get CLOSE to Miley Cyrus

The fashion world is mourning the loss of Oscar de la Renta this morning. He passed away at his home in Connecticut last night after a long battle with cancer. He was 82. Oscar first came into the spotlight in the 60s when he dressed First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. He went on to dress First Ladies for years to come — Laura Bush, Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama. His gowns were worn on red carpets by countless celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Penelope Cruz. And most recently, Oscar appeared in Vogue magazine with Amal Alamuddin, who wore his design when she married George Clooney in Italy last month.

SPOILER ALERT: On last night’s “Dancing With the Stars,” there was a lot going on. Pitbull performed and served as a guest judge while Leah Remini served as a guest host. But it all boiled down to who got eliminated, and last night that honor went to “Mean Girls” star Jonathan Bennett. After getting the boot, Jonathan said, “Here’s the thing, I came here to do this show, to have fun, to have a really great experience and to bring life back into my life, and that’s what I did. I had the best time of my life.”

James Franco was spotted laughing as he confronted a photographer at the Lana Del Rey concert at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery Friday night. Someone caught a picture of the attack and James apparently thought the whole thing was hilarious because he’s laughing the whole time. The photographer, however, failed to see the humor in the situation. He’s filed charges with the LAPD, claiming his camera equipment was broken and he suffered a minor back injury.

Toys “R” Us is taking some heat for selling “Breaking Bad” dolls. The AMC series revolved around Bryan Cranston’s character — a chemistry teacher turned meth maker. And who wouldn’t want to have THAT doll?? You can find it — for now, at least — at Toys “R” Us! This toy version of Walter White comes complete with a fake gun, fake cash, and a backpack filled with fake crystal meth. There’s also a Jesse Pinkman dolls that comes with his own hazmat suit and gas mask. Even though the packaging clearly states that these dolls are intended for ages 15 and up, one Florida mom has started a campaign to have the dolls pulled from Toys “R” Us shelves. To that, Bryan Cranston tweeted, “‘ Florida mom petitions against Toys ‘R Us over Breaking Bad action figures.’ I’m so mad, I’m burning my Florida Mo action figure in protest.”

This 23-year-old club promoter claims he slipped past security and got THISCLOSE to Miley Cyrus backstage at her concert in Sydney. Anthony Skinner claims he was in the arena parking lot and saw that the janitor’s storeroom had been left open. So he grabbed a pair of boots and a sanitation vest and decided to see how far he could take it. Not only did he waltz right past security, he got all the way backstage. He said he started playing the part of at the janitor, cleaning up around the place and blending in. He says that after almost an hour of emptying trash cans and sweeping, Miley finally emerged surrounded by her security. Anthony said his brain went completely blank, but he did manage to say, “Hey.” He says she looked at him, smiled and just kept walking. Before he left, Anthony went up to a member of Miley’s team and gave him his “favorite jacket of all time” to give to Miley. Inside he tucked a letter with all of his contact information, just in case she wants to get in touch with him.
