Oprah and Mindy Kaling are co-starring in the movie “A Wrinkle in Time,” which finally hits theaters this Friday. In December, Mindy gave birth to a baby girl she named Katherine, so of course Oprah wanted to send her friend a baby gift. Mindy says Oprah’s assistant called to say they were coming over with a present, but they showed up with a U-Haul! And inside was a hand-carved bookcase filled with a hundred classic children’s books, and Katherine’s Book Club was written across the top of it. How cool is that!
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are giving it another try. The two of them broke up a year ago, but in January, they vacationed together in the Maldives and they’ve been openly flirting with each other on social media. Now they’re running around together in Prague, where Orlando is filming a series called “Carnival Row.” Maybe these two crazy kids will figure it out. Katy recently posted a video of her catching the bouquet at her brother’s wedding. She captioned it, “When you crave companionship but run from love when you get it.” Orlando commented, “You can run but you can’t hide… from YOURSELF.”
Page Six is reporting that E! is sticking with their decision to keep Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet for pre-Oscars coverage Sunday night. But to avoid any surprises — like when Debra Messing went off about that Catt Sandler pay issue — producers are pre-arranging interviews with friendly A-listers who won’t surprise Ryan with any uncomfortable comments, like that dig Kelly Ripa took at Ryan yesterday on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” One of the things Ryan’s former stylist accused him of was pushing her face in his crotch when she bent down to tie his shoes. On yesterday’s show, Kelly asked Ryan, “Do you want me to put your shoes back on for you?”

Us Magazine is reporting that Camila Cabello is super close to signing on as Taylor Swift’s opening act on her upcoming Reputation world tour. Their source says Camila will complete a short solo tour before she joins Taylor on the road. Taylor’s played a major role in launching the careers of other major artists. When their careers were just gaining a little traction, Taylor had Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran open for her during her 1989 world tour.
As we witnessed on “The Bachelor” this week, sometimes it takes seeing your ex THISCLOSE to marrying some other guy to realize that you’re about to lose the best thing that ever happened to you. (#RossForBachelor!) And Radar Online says that’s exactly what’s happened to Taylor Kinney. After Lady Gaga became engaged to her agent Christian Carino, Radar’s source says Taylor spent a year “taking home a different girl practically every night.” But the source says Taylor realizes that nobody can hold a candle to Gaga, and now he’s going to fight to get her back. The source says Taylor has been showing up at Gaga’s concerts to let her know how much he misses her and wants her back, but so far, it’s not working. The source says, “Gaga misses Taylor and cares about him, but they’re two people who want very different things in life.”
