The totals are super close, but with $8.4M, “The Nun 2” has been declared the winner at the box office this weekend. With $8.3M, second place goes to the new “Expend4bles,” the fourth and worst opening in the franchise. Coming in third was “A Haunting in Venice” with $6.3M, followed by “The Equalizer 3” with $4.7M and “Barbie” with another $3.2M. So after 10 weeks, “Barbie” is still in the top 5, even when the movie is now available to stream on demand. So far, the movie has earned more than $630M domestically and over $1.4B worldwide.

After nearly 5 months, picketing writers finally put down their signs and went home to soak their feet. Yesterday it was announced that union leaders had reached a tentative agreement with Hollywood studios to end the writers strike. The Writers Guild of America’s board and members have to vote on it, so it’s not officially over just yet. They haven’t revealed any of the terms of the reported 3-year agreement, but the main points of contention were issues of pay, the size of writing staffs on shows and the use of artificial intelligence. If all goes well with the vote — and why wouldn’t it? — late night talk shows could be back up and running within days. Meanwhile, the actors strike continues.

Just when you thought there’s no way they can come up with a new idea for a dating show, we get this….”Naked Attraction.” And yes, it’s EXACTLY that. This is a British show that has been on for several seasons, but you can watch now on Max. On the website, it says, “Naked Attraction: The daring dating series that starts where some good dates might end – naked.” In each episode, one person has six potential date choices. Each one is completely naked, with one body part revealed at a time. The face is the last big reveal. The chooser critiques each body part, eliminating one at a time. When there are only two potential dates left, the chooser also gets butt naked and the remaining two contestants get to critique them. The final couple go out on a date, with their clothes on.

It looks like Pete Davidson has landed himself another beautiful Hollywood starlet — Madelyn Cline. Rumors first surfaced these two were dating last week. Us Weekly reportedly they’d spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast there the next morning. Page Six reported that over the weekend, Pete whisked Madelyn off to Vegas for a head-spinning 24 hours. First, she watched him perform standup at The Chelsea. Then they went back to the Resorts World hotel, where they spent the majority of their time in the hotel’s nightclub on the 66th floor before spending the night in their luxury Crockfords Entertainment Suite.

Last Thursday, Travis Kelce told ESPN that he told Taylor Swift, “I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead, and you might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.” So he “threw the ball in her court,” and apparently, Taylor caught that ball and a direct flight to Kansas City! Taylor was next to Travis’ mom Donna in his private suite, where they watched Travis and the Chiefs whoop the Bears’ butt, 41-10. Taylor was REALLY into it. When Travis scored early in the third quarter, she bumped her chest and screamed, “Let’s (BLANKING) go!!” The two of them left the game together in his vintage drop-top convertible. Fans snapped pictures of them driving around town, enjoying the sunset.
