“The Super Mario Brothers Movie” took in $204.6M in the US and $377M globally, giving it the biggest global box office opening of all time for an animated film. It’s also the biggest opening of 2023, so far! Meantime, “John Wick: Chapter 4” keeps growing its box office totals, earning another $14.6M for second place. Coming in third was “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” with $14.5M and the Nike drama “Air” debuted in fourth with $14.4M. While those movies were super close together in ticket sales, there was a big drop down to fifth place with “Scream VI,” which earned another $3M.

Lots of celebrity baby news! Hilary Swank announced yesterday that she gave birth to twins. She stopped short of revealing their names, but she posted a picture holding her itty-bitties while looking at the sunset — or sunrise…It’s hard to tell. She captioned it, “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven. ” And congratulations to Gavin Rossdale on becoming a GRANDFATHER!! His daughter Daisy Lowe welcomed a baby girl named Ivy Love. And on Friday, Bartise Bowden from Season 3 of “Love Is Blind” announced that he’s the daddy of a baby boy named Aiden, who was actually born back on December 27! He didn’t say who Aiden’s mommy is, but “Life & Style” did some digging and found out she is Olivia Gross. Apparently there is some issue with their relationship because “L&S” also said Bartise filed documents on April 3 and there’s an open case pertaining to Aiden.

On Saturday, Doja Cat made a huge announcement on Twitter: “no more pop”. She followed that up with, “i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasn’t trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will.” But how do we know if she’s serious or not? Yesterday, Doja started tweeting about how her next album “is no longer rap yall its rock/spoken word and the album title is not Hellmouth anymore.” Then she said she was just kidding, “it’s gonna be a french conceptual experimental country/bohemian fusion with the essence of blue-grass.” After that, Doja tweeted she quit music, followed by another “jk,” followed by another tweet that she’s seriously quitting music and another “jk” and that we all need to relax. That’s followed by another tweet that she’s quitting music because it makes her “sadder every day. I can’t take it anymore.” Then she switched it up with a “jp” — just playing. She said she is going to finish the album she’s working on, so we don’t have to worry, but after someone tweeted “as long as it’s not a country album” Doja said, “and THAT it is.. :p”

It looked like the relationship was dead but it turns out it was just very badly burned. Whatever was the issue between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, those crazy kids have worked it out. They are on vacation in Hawaii and a source told “Daily Mail” that they are official back on. The source said, “The last few months have been tough for them both but they went away together to do some healing and it’s been working.” The source said Megan truly believes MGK is her soulmate and she was never going to give up on the relationship, and now they feel more connected than ever.

They met at the Met Gala in 2016. Their relationship was made public in 2017. Now here we are, six years later, and sources say Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have broken up. Sources say it was amicable and they simply grew apart. While the majority of Swifties refuse to believe this is true, others say Taylor dropped one of her infamous Easter eggs at her March 31 show in Arlington, Texas. Instead of singing “Invisible String” — a song about soulmates who are brought together by fate, Taylor replaced it with “The 1” — which is about breaking up with the man that could’ve been her soulmate. Now fans are speculating the breakup is why Taylor got super emotional while performing “Champagne Problems” in Glendale, Arizona, earlier in March. That song is about a woman turning down a man’s marriage proposal and was co-written by Joe.
