Which holiday movie classics do you look forward to watching every year? If you’re like most of your fellow Americans, Home Alone comes in number one on your list, too. According to a new Yahoo/YouGov poll, the top 10 movies Americans look forward to every holiday season are:

  1. Home Alone: 34%
  2. A Christmas Story: 33%
  3. A Charlie Brown Christmas: 32%
  4. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: 29%
  5. Elf: 26%
  6. Christmas Vacation: 25%
  7. It’s a Wonderful Life: 24%
  8. The Santa Clause: 24%
  9. Miracle on 34th Street: 21%
  10. Die Hard: 14%

By the way, Die Hard is coming back to the big screen. A select number of AMC Theaters will re-release this Bruce Willis classic for a limited time starting Dec. 8.

Charli XCX is engaged! On Monday she posted a photo of her engagement ring on her private Instagram account @360_brats, and the next day she posted a carousel of photos on her main account featuring her fiancé George Daniel, who’s the drummer for The 1975. Charli and Daniel first met a couple years ago when they worked on a song called Spinning by No Rome, featuring Charli and The 1975. Daniel is also a producer and he and Charli collaborated several times since, which caused made them both realize they were madly in love and need to be together forever….Matty Healey posted in the comments, “I cry.”

Beyoncé showed up for the premiere of her Renaissance movie over the weekend looking fierce, as always. She wore a silver dress with silver opera gloves and her hair was styled long, sleek and platinum blonde. Trolls, however, took issue with the color of Beyoncé’s skin. Some accused her of trying to look white by bleaching her skin. Mama Bear LOST IT. Tina Knowles reposted a video of Beyonce from the movie premiere, followed by a series of videos of Beyonce over the years that showed how her brown skin color would sometimes be darker than others. In the VERY long caption, Tina wrote in part, “Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white. She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? .. How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown…”

U2 kicked off their residency at the Sphere in Vegas in September. The show was such a hit, they added more shows, taking them through February. That includes two shows over Super Bowl Weekend. After U2 wraps up their residency, who’s moving in next? According to the New York Post, Beyonce toured the venue with her manager and discussed the possibility of doing a residency there next year. Harry Styles may be interested, as well. According to Metro UK, after Harry, his new buzz cut and his new girlfriend Taylor Russell saw U2’s show at the Sphere, he had a 4-hour meeting with the big bosses about a possible residency there and what that would look like. If you’re not familiar, the multi-BILLION dollar MSG Sphere at the Venetian is an immersive experience inside the biggest spherical structure in the world. You’re surrounded by a 16K-resolution wraparound screen with music pumped through 16K speakers. This thing can hold 17K people, and 10K of them get to enjoy specially vibrating seats!

According to the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift finished her last concert in São Paulo, Brazil, hopped on her jet and flew directly to Kansas City, where she will post up with her boyfriend Travis Kelce in his new $6M mansion. She’s on break from her Eras Tour through February. He’s got football at least through January. If the Chiefs go to the Super Bowl, he’ll be done after Feb. 11. A source told Daily Mail, “Taylor’s still smitten with Travis, but she realizes that the hard work in their relationship is about to start as they will be spending weeks at a time together.” Taylor may be on a break, but Travis still has to work! We expect her to follow him to Green Bay this weekend to watch her man and the rest of the Chiefs take on the Packers.
